Here are your spoilers for the week of April 21-25.
In general….
Thursday - Robert lies in wait for Jesse’s coffin to be exhumed. A toy elephant is found in Jesse’s coffin after the casket is exhumed. Robert is enraged when he overhears what Angie did with the original toy placed in Jesse’s coffin.
Friday - Cassandra plans her return to Pine Valley.
ALL THOSE WITH MORE TO OFFER - PLEASE COMMENT - FOR THIS WEEK ONLY - NOT FUTURE.
Last scene before the intro today we see Tad showing Jesse the map of the warehouse/docks area. Tad’s plan is to go scope things out and Jesse looks visibly concerned/nervous about it. Tad asks Jesse if he’d rather stay there and he tells him no, because Tad wouldn’t know what he was looking for. Tad hands Jesse a gun just as Angie walks in. She yells at Jesse - “No more guns! I am not losing you again.” And then the intro credits start.
After credits we’re back into the Tad, Jesse & Angie scene from above. Jesse tries to calm Angie and tell her she’s not going to lose him again. Here’s some dialogue:
Jesse: Angie, you are not going to lose me. It’s ok. Angie: Put the gun down. I never want to see another gun. Jesse: It’s just a precaution. Angie: Why now? Tad: Angela, nobody wants to use them. Angie: Then why are you? Something is going on. Is somebody going to start talking to me? Jesse: We think we might have found the place they took me to back then. Tad: See, he remembered something about where they held him — the sound of water and the sound of a clock tower. Jesse: And Tad said this guy Papel — the one that’s in Remy’s datebook? He’s a huge drug honcho. Angie: So you’re going back to the scene of the crime — to find this man? Are we going to let the F.B.I. Know about this, or just send you both in there to get killed?
End scene.
Then we see a bulletin board with old photos of Angie & Jesse together and separately as well as newspaper clippings about Jesse, etc. The camera moves us along this room with concrete walls and then we see smarmy Uncle Robert talking to a guy (this turns out to be Rafael). He tells him “Good job, very creative.” Rafael tells Robert he put up everything they had and Robert tells him that their friend Hubard was a handsome guy before he died and now all they needed was a current photo. Rafael tells him they could pull one off the surveillance videos from the hospital and Robert is quick to tell him no. He needs a professional-looking shot. “Yeah, well, I could take a professional shot at Hubbard” Rafael snarls. Robert tells him they have plenty of time for that. “First of all, Hubbard and my nephew, Tad, have to find the clues that I’ve entered into Remy’s datebook”. Rafael asks when Robert thinks Tad and Jesse will get there and Robert says any minute. Rober then leaves telling Rafael that he has a date with a very special woman (can you say Opal?)…grrr….
VIDCAP BELOW for our next scene…will continue recap via writing after this …
After this scene we see Opal and Robert and he tells her that he’s so glad she could join him. She of course is flattered (and BLIND) and says “Oh — huh. Well, sometimes you look so much like your brother it just makes my skin crawl”, (good Opal, keep that thought present). He apologizes for looking like Ray and offers her a drink. She says no, she needs to keep her wits about her (yes, please don’t drink Opal, you are extremely limited on wits w/out booze). Here’s some of their dialogue:
Opal: Whoo! You know, I — I just never thought I would cross paths with the Gardner clan again. Robert: Well, and I had thought that I had convinced you that I’m nothing like Ray. Opal: Well, I know. I — I heard everything you had to say and — and I see you’re making every effort, but Ray Gardner is a lot harder to get past than I realized. Robert: Well, I know. Opal: I mean, he ruined a lot of people’s lives. I — I have been having the worst nightmares ever since you came to town. Robert: Oh, I’m sorry. Opal: Yeah. Robert: Well, now, I took the liberty of ordering some champagne — should I send it back? Opal: The good stuff? Oh, well, isn’t that fancy. Well, I guess a little wouldn’t hurt. Huh. Robert: Good. Opal: Hmm. Robert: I know it’s been a long time since you left Ray and came to Pine Valley alone. Opal: Oh, stop right there. I didn’t come alone. No, I came with my daughter, Jenny. Tad was already settled here in Pine Valley with Joe and Ruthie. Robert: Tad certainly seems to have made something of himself. Opal: “Something”? I call it success with a capital S. He turned everything around — oh, he has a real good life, my Tad. Robert: Hmm. Well, tell me about him, will you?
They clink glasses and we are out to commercial.
Down at the docks/waterfront we see Jesse and Tad moving slowly along with flashlights. Tad’s asking Jesse if they are even in the right ballpark. Jesse says he doesn’t know and Tad yells at him “Oh, come on, Jesse. This is the sixth warehouse we’ve been to — does anything look familiar?” Jesse tells him it’s been 20 years and to basically chill out. And then Jesse tells Tad he shold go. “Oh, God, not again,” Tad sighs. Jesse tells Tad he didn’t sign up for this and it’s wrong. Tad tells him he did sign up for this and to stop doing this! “Tad, if you got hurt –” Jesse says and Tad interupts him to say knock it off and stop telling him what to do. Here’s some dialogue:
Jesse: You’ve got a good life, Tad — you’ve got a wife, you got a kid — why would you want to jeopardize that? Tad: Because you’ve got a good life, too. And you can’t get to it until we — we figure out what happened to you. Now, Jenny was right — why do you always got to have such a thick skull? Jesse: This thick skull has kept me alive, all right? Tad: Yeah. It’s a good thing, too. Come on, let’s do this.
End scene.
At PV Hospital, we see Frankie and Colby entering Richie’s room. Frankie introduces himself as Dr. Frank Hubbard. Chit chat really so unrelated, Colby spills water on Richie and Frankie tells her to try being more professional and that “Some of us are dealing with life-or-death situations.”
We are than transported back to the waterfront and we see Tad opening a door. He says that after 9 or 10 of these places they all look the same. “Where are the lights?” Jesse asks. Tad says “Crane West Imports” and asks to see the datebook. “Jesse, come here. Check it out. “Papel, C.W.I.” Crane West Imports. Could it be it?” Tad says. “This is it”, Jesse says with a look of disbelief in his eyes and they cut to commercial.
We see Colby trying to get her car started - playing loud music and cursing about it not starting. Frankie shows up and asks her to turn the music down so he can hear the engine. She smartmouths him and he tells her she’s flooding the engine. She argues with him some more because she can and she’s a Chandler afterall…she tells him she knows something about cars and it’s not flooded. She’s clearly fed up with his criticisim of her earlier and is letting him have it. She sees that someone cut the wire and has been messing with her car. Frankie thinks she’s lost her mind and says “What? Somebody messed with your car? You’ve been watching too many trashy horror flicks. Nobody’s coming to get you.”
Back at the warehouse Tad asks Jesse if this really could be the place. And he says “Yeah, man this is it. This is where it all happened. It hasn’t changed a bit.” Tad says maybe they’ll get lucky and maybe this place belonged to some associate of Papel’s. Just then Jesse starts having a flashback and we see him laying on the floor with someone kicking him over and over again. Tad asks if he’s okay and Jesse tells him yeah, he jus keesp flashing over what happened here. The door creaks and both Tad and Jesse turn toward it.
End scene.
Okay, here’s a Vidcap for the above scene and the last scene for today, which tie in together nicely. I’m also including the previews that apply for tomorrow. Enjoy!
