Friday’s Episode (3/21/08)

March 21, 2008 By: otter Category: Episodes 1 Comment →

As we begin today our storyline picks up with Jesse at the air strip. We hear Robert’s distorted voice (goes with his distorted mind IMHO) saying “Jesse Hubbard? Been a long time.” Jesse makes a move toward the voice and Robert tells him not so fast. We then hear a gun cock and Robert tells Jesse that was the sound of a real gun. Jesse asks where Frankie and Colby are and Robert says first things first - they have a lot of catching up to do. Jesse asks if the kids are all right. “That depends on what you have to say”, Robert says. Jesse says he’ll tell him whatever Robert wants to hear AFTER he sees the kids first.

Over to Frankie and Colby. They are still working on the hatch/door, looks like they are almost there. Colby asks him what do they do when they get through this thing and Frankie says they run like hell. Colby says she knows that is the big plan but what happens if they go through this and those guys are on the other side with guns. Frankie tells her to stay focused. She sighs and continues working on the hatch.

Scene moves us over to Tad and Adam. Oh geeze, Adam’s wrecked the car. Tad tries rousing Adam telling him to get up and asking if he’s alive. Adam says yeah hes’ alive is Tad dissappointed? Tad ignores that and asks him what the hell happened. Adam says he doesn’t know, he got lightheaded for a minute and lost his concentration. “Lightheaded”? You moron, you could’ve killed us!” Tad yells. Adam says he didn’t kill them and they need to get rid of the air bags and go. Tad tells him the only place Adam is giong is out of the car and tells him to get out! Adam calls Tad an idioit and they argue a bit and Adam says he’s going to save Colby and scene ends.

At Shonda’s (Mrs. Remmington) we see the EMT’s arrive as Angie tries to revive her. Krystal tells the EMT that Shonda was just talking a minute ago. They ask for Angie and Krystal to step back and asks what happened. Angie tells them she’s a doctor. EMT’s can’t get a pulse and she’s not breathing. Angie tells them to repeat CPR - that they can’t lose her!! Krystal asks Angie what Shonda was saying to her and Angie says she doesn’t know “but that woman could save Frankie’s life, Jesse’s, too. They have to bring her back!” Angie yells. The EMT’s tell her it doesn’t look good and scene ends.

Back at the airstrip Jesse says “You called me, and I came. Release the kids -you don’t need them anymore!” Of cours Robert disagrees and tells him they’ll be released when Jesse gives him the information. Here’s some dialogue:

Jesse: You really want that information bad, don’t you?
Robert: I’ve been waiting for 20 years.
Jesse: Yeah, well, you’re going to keep on waiting — till I know those kids are safe.
Robert: You may recall, jesse, we have some rather effective techniques for encouraging people to talk.
Jesse: You want to torture me again? Hey, I’m right here. Until I see those kids walk, you get nothing. You hear me — nothing!!

And we cut to intro muzak…wow all that before the opening credits and you won’t believe what happens next…off to vidcap some Jesse :)

NOTE: Vidcap is below. It is 3-4 scenes in a row, runs about 6 minutes in playing time.

Continuing on from the vidcap above we are back at Shonda’s. Angie is telling Krystal that if all Mrs. Remington could talk about while she was dying was her necklace so it must mean something. “But what?” Krystal asks. Here’s their dialogue:

Angie: She fought, Krystal. That’s what this struggle was all about. Now, that necklace was her prize possession. She never took it off, not once. It was a gift from her son.
Krystal: Look, there’s a very good chance that whoever broke in here and took that necklace was not mixed up with all that jesse mess.
Angie: This is her purse. Angie: It still has all of its cash here. Now, why would a thief leave this? This was no regular robbery. It was personal.
Krystal: I guess Mrs. Remington left us a clue, after all.
Angie: If that necklace was worth killing for, we got to find out who took it.

Back over at the airstrip, Robert’s continues to toy with Jesse. “I’m a coward? You ran away from your own family,” he says. Jesse says he stayed away to protect them. “You pretended you were dead to save your own ass,” Robert hisses. Jesse says everything he did was for Fankie and Angela. You have to read this dialogue…

Robert: Did you ever think about how she did it? How she got through all those lonely nights?
Jesse: You’re a sick, twisted little monkey, aren’t you?
Robert: How does it feel to know that another man comforted her, huh? Cared for her, took her to bed?
Jesse: Grow up!
Robert: You escaped. You could’ve come back anytime to stop the suffering, but no. You were just too afraid.
Jesse: What I did kept them safe.
Robert: You were a detective, Jesse. You couldn’t even figure out who I was. Did you even try?
Jesse: You know what? I’m done with this. Bring those kids to me now, or I will come in and find them myself!

Rafael then turns to Robert and says “What do you want me to do with him? I can do him right now.” Commercial.

After commercial…we see Rafael again asking for the “word” to take Hubbard out. Robert tells him not yet and he tells him to bring the kids out. The camera focuses on Jesse … he’s talking quitely to himself…”Angie, baby, I’m coming home. I promise you, I will not disappoint you this time. I’m going to find our boy and I’m going to bring him home to you. I’m coming home, baby.”

We then return to Tad and Adam. Tad’s still trying to get Adam out of the car. Adam tells him to stop arguing and drive. Tad tells Adam at this rate, “you’re the — you’re the one that’s going to need rescuing. You really want to do this with Colby’s life on the line?” Adam tells him again to start the car and drive. The engine won’t turn over. Tad screams “No, no, no, no!” Adam asks what the problem is and Tad says “What do you mean, “what’s the problem?” You wrapped the car around a tree! That’s the problem!” Adam clinches his chest. “Adam, Adam!” Tad yells. Adam tells Tad he’s fine - just drive! Tad swears at the engine as he turns the key again and again and scene ends.

We see Colby and Frankie almost through the hatch. Frankie tells her nice work, she doesn’t respond - he says “HEY! nice work” she looks up at him and says “No talking, remember?” scene ends.

Vidcap below continues on from where we left off…

Out to commercial…BACK at the air strip, we hear Frankie saying “Dad?”. Jesse calls back to him and asks if he’s okay. Frankie tells him both he and Colby are fine. Jesse tells Colby he needs to hear her voice. Colby yells back she’s ok! Jesse asks them both again if they are sure they are okay because “If they so much as touched — ” “Dad, Dad, don’t! Stay cool. There’s a guy here with a gun on us”, Frankie yells. “Frankie, I promise you I will not let anything happen to you.” Scene ends.

Back at the car, Tad is telling adam to get out of the damn car! Adam refuses and tells Tad he better get this car on the road or he’s a deadman! Tad says “Oh, man, you know something?” trying really hard not to lay Adam out. Adam counts down, five, four…Tad says if they weren’t in such a rush, he’d gladly kill Adam right now. “I would wrap my hands around your neck and squeeze, buddy!” Adam continues to count down…three, two, one– “I’d make you beg for mercy, I’d make you grovel at my feet.” Tad says. All this time he is trying to start the car and then…it starts!! Adam says Tad is the luckiest idiot alive and to step on it. Tad looks over at Adam and says “I’m a lucky. Let me tell you something — you better pray we are on time,” and they drive off.

Back to the airstrip Jesse continues to ask Frankie if he’s hurt. Frankie tells him he’s positive he’s not hurt. Here’s dialogue:

Jesse: The truth, son, not what they told you to say!
Frankie: They just tied us up, but that’s it.
Jesse: And Colby?
Robert: [Distorted voice] Enough! They’re fine. But that’s going to change very quickly if you don’t start talking.
Jesse: You let them go first!
Robert: All right, you talk or we shoot now. It’s your choice.
Jesse: No, wait, wait!
Robert: Sorry. Who’s first?
Jesse:No!!!!

Commercial…BACK at Mrs. Remington’s we see Derek telling Angie and Krystal that someone really did a number on this place. Krystal says they’ll just get out of his way then. Derek tells them to hag on and wants to know what they were doing in a dead woman’s house. Krystal tells him that Angie and Mrs. Remington were friends. Derek asks if there was any paritcular reason they chose tonight to visit her. Angie tells Derek he already called her down to the station to ask her questions about Remy. He tells her now he’s asking about Remy’s mother. Krystal interjects and says it’s late. Derek ignores her and continues questioning Angie. Here’s some dialogue:

Derek: Was Mrs. Remington able to speak before she died?
Angie: Not really.
Derek: Did she say anything that might lead us to who did this?
Angie: I don’t think so.
Derek: Is that a yes or a no?
Krystal: Derek, come on. Take it easy.
Derek: Did you notice anything the police should be aware of?
Angie: Um — I can’t do this now.
Derek: Why are you so upset?
Angie: Derek, a — a woman just died.
Derek: Angie, what aren’t you telling me?
Angie: Nothing.
Derek: Now, you’d never let me off that easy. Back when I got shot, they told me I’d never walk again. I shut the world out, but not you. Uh-uh — Dr. Hubbard wasn’t having any of that.
Angie: Yeah, I kicked your butt.
Derek: And sometimes you’d bring little Frankie around. He was fascinated with medicine, even at that age.
Angie: Do you hear me, Derek? I can’t do this!
Derek: What’s wrong?
Angie: God — we can’t just stand here! Someone — other people can die!

Back at the airstrip Jesse yells for them to put the gun down and he’ll talk! “You wouldn’t be kidding me now, would you, Jesse?” Robert asks. Jesse says no, he’s not kidding. Rober then tells Rafael to take the kids back inside. Jesse hollers out to Frankie and hears nothing back. Robert tells him it’s just Jesse and him now and to start talking.

We then see the kids and Colby is asking how much longer. “I got a feeling this thing is going to go down pretty soon. Better not be too long.” as they continue to make headway on the hatch. Scene ends.

The rest is another meaty vidcap - there was so much footage today - I hope you all enjoyed the clips I chose…vidcap below.

Thursday’s Episode (3/20/08)

March 20, 2008 By: otter Category: Episodes 11 Comments →

As we open today’s storyline, we see Angie and Krystal at PVH still worried and looking for clues. Angie starts to have a mini-meltdown thinking about when Frankie went off to Iraq and how horrible that was and how helpless she feels about it all.

On the plane Colby and Frankie free themselves from the ropes. They find a door/hatch and are trying to pull it open. We then see Uncle Robert and Rafael talking about calling Jesse and if he doesn’t obey them, the kids will be going for a little plane ride. While Robert is talking he’s making a paper airplane. (Maybe it’s me but just in case you don’t know, this plane had NOT taken off yet). When we see Robert he’s not on the plane, he’s somewhere else, maybe down at the docks and that warehouse, hard to see because it’s dark.

Meanwhile back at the safehouse, Jesse and Tad are arguing with Adam about his attempt to call the authorities. Tad tells Jesse he cannot bargain with his life for the kids, they’ll work out another plan.

After intro muzak, we’re back with Tad, Jesse and Adam and Jesse pulls a gun on Adam to stop him from ranting, trying to run the show and call the authorities. Harsh, harsh words are tossed back and forth. Jesse really wants to shoot Adam and I for one don’t mind LOL…poor Tad he’s trying to get Jesse to realize this is not the way to go about this. I’ll have to do some portion of vidcap here - great to see the hate relationship Jesse and Adam share LOL!

Back on the plane, Robert and Rafael continue their chat. Rafael wants to know why he’s making Jesse wait. Robert says “What’s a few hours? He made me wait for 20 years.” Rafael says if Jesse cops out, they can’t send those kids up by autopilot and Robert tells him that Rafael will have to take them up and parachute out! “Beautiful”, Rafael says. At this point in time you’d have to be deaf not to hear the amount of noise Colby is making. Robert does and tells Rafael to shhh. He then asks what the hell the kids are doing down there and sends Rafael off to see what’s going on. We see Frankie and Colby struggling to open this door and he keeps telling her it’s locked from the outside - but she doesn’t listen and says it’s the only way out! (I have to give Frankie credit, b/c I’d have b*slapped her by now!) She says do you see another door and he tells her it’s a cargo hatch LOL. He then tells her to shhh and she continues to argue.

Back at PVH Angie and Krystal talk to a nurse who saw Frankie and Colby leave, but didn’t know where they were going. This vidcap will contain the next 3-4 scenes from where we left off above and has some killer content.

Continuing on from where we left off above, we see Frankie and Colby and she’s questioning him about who is doing this to them. He doesn’t want to tell her, but she keeps picking at him. He finally gives in and tells her it’s the man who wants his father dead. “Your father is dead. Isn’t he?” she says as they take us to a scene with Robert after Rafael gets back. He tells Robert that the kids are still tied up and not going anywhere. “Yet,” Robert snarls…end scene.

Back at the safe house, Tad is asking Adam if he gets it now. “Do you understand? We can’t call anybody. Even if we did call Derek, we can’t be sure they wouldn’t know about it before it would do any good. Right now, for now, we just follow instructions,” he tells Adam. Adam wants to know about the instructions, are they from the kidnapper and says he will do exactly what Tad wants, just tell him what to do and begs to know where Colby is. Tad tells him they are going to be getting a call soon and they will tell Jesse when and where they want to meet. And that he must come alone. Here’s some dialouge:

Adam: So you’re going to give yourself up, and they’ll let Colby go?
Jesse: They’ll let Colby and Frankie go.
Tad: You are not going to give yourself up, and you are not going in alone, because I’m going with you.
Jesse: He wants me alone, Tad. I will show up alone! That’s the way it’s going to be!
Tad: Oh, ok, so you show up alone. But you show up with a shadow.
Adam: No, with two. Two shadows.
Tad: Adam — Adam —
Adam: She’s my daughter, Tad.
Tad: Ok. Jesse — Jesse — Adam and I go after the kids. You deal with the son of a bitch who took them.

At Shonda’s house (Mrs. Remington) we see Angie and Krystal. There is a flower pot that is broken outside the door. Krystal notes there are no lights on so she figures Shonda is either sleeping or gone. Angie sees the car in the driveway and the door is unlocked. Krystal says it looks like somebody busted the lock and she’s getting a bad feeling.

Back over to Colby and Frankie, they are talking about Jesse faking his death and how he’s been on the run this whole time. Frankie thinks these guys are using him and Colby for bait. Colby asks if Jesse will take the bait and come get them. Frankie says he hopes not and scene ends.

Back at the safehouse Tad is telling Jesse that he cannot handle it all by himself. “You need somebody to get the kids out of there. Adam and I — we can do that,” he says. Here’s some dialogue:

Jesse: I don’t trust Adam Chandler, I never have.
Tad: Well, neither do I, ok? But if somebody’s threatening Colby, I don’t mind having him at my back.
Jesse: And when it comes to Frankie?
Tad: You can trust me. I’ll watch Adam.
Adam: Martin —
Tad: It’s a fact. Deal with it. You want her back, you do it our way.
Jesse: And, Tad —
Tad: Jesse, I don’t want to get shot, either.

Just then the phone rings and Tad answers it. The distorted voice (aka Uncle Robert) says he hopes he doesn’t mind that he “called a little early Mr. Martin. I’m just — well, I’m anxious to get started. Tad tells him Jesse is ready to get started too. Robert tells Tad to give the phone to Jesse and he does. “Where are we meeting?” Jesse asks. “There’s a private airstrip at the edge of town. It has a hanger and a couple of planes”, Robert says. Jesse tells him he knows where it is. Robert tells him to be there in half an hour. “Don’t bring any weapons. And remember, come alone”, Robert says. Jesse gets off the phone tells Tad that the meeting is at the Winship Airstrip in half-hour and “Lock and load, compadre”, he says looking at Tad. I can’t be armed. They’ll pat me down. You know how to use one of these?” he says to Adam. “Yes, I do” Adam says as he takes the gun and scene ends.

Back at PVH, there’s an ending that applies to our storyline only in that Joe asks Babe if she or Krystal has seen or heard from Tad lately. He’s worried about him. She tells him he’s working on a big case and is fine. He’s working long hours and she knows her mama has seen him too.

VIDCAP from where we left off. It also contains 3 scenes in a row.

From where we left off, we see Angie and Krystal with Shonda. Angie is telling her it’s okay and that she’s going to help her. “Can you tell me where it hurts?” Shonda tells her it feels like something’s sitting on her chest. She can’t breathe. Angie tells Krystal to call 911 and tell them they have a 60+ woman complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath. Shonda whimpers and Angie asks her if it hurts anywhere else. “Left arm,” she says. Angie asks her if she has any medication for her heart or blood pressure? Shonda shakes her head no. Angie tells her to stay calm and take nice slow breaths. Shonda points to her chest and says “my necklace”. Angie asks what happened to it and Shonda isn’t able to tell her more as she starts to have more difficulty breathing, etc. Angie tells her to take it easy and scene moves over to Robert and Rafael. “The old lady really didn’t want to give that up”, Rafael says. “She won’t miss it. Why does everybody always have to put up a fight, huh?” Robert says dangling Shonda’s necklace in his hand. “Waste of energy — since you always win anyway”, Rafael says. And we get yet another smarmy, cocky grimmace from Robert as the scene ends.

Back over to Colby and Frankie. She’s questioning him about these being the same people who got his dad way back then. Frankie says “Do I have ranks, names, serial nbers — no. But it’s got to be them”. “Or it could be some big, major ransom, someone after the Chandler money”, Colby says. Frankie tells her that if they were after you, they wouldn’t have dragged him along for the ride. She’s a typical Chandler and disagrees. She’s wigging out about possibly being tortured and how she doesn’t want to be! Frankie tells her no one is going to hurt her, they want info from Jesse and she doesn’t have any info they want. Colby asks him if they teach them in the Army how to take pain to make it eaiser. (I’m sooooo tired of Colby - anyone else agree???) He finally gets her to shudup and tries to get them focused on finding a way out before the plane takes off. Colby finds some hatch with a lot of screws. Frankie tells her to give him her shoe so he can forge a screwdriver of sorts out of it. She doesn’t want to, so he takes a shoe from her so he can be done with it.

At the safehouse Adam and Tad are waiting that 15 minutes Jesse asked for, not that that means Adam is being quiet about it. Here’s some dialogue:

Adam: It’s time.
Tad: We have five minutes left.
Adam: Oh, by — by the time we get to the car, the five minutes will be up.
Tad: Adam? Jesse Hubbard asked me for 15 minutes, he’s going to get 15 minutes.
Adam: Oh, 15 minutes to do exactly what?
Tad: Just try and take —
Adam: Yeah, I’m supposed to take it easy when those lowlifes have my daughter? You saw the — what they did to Hubbard’s back. So — so help me god, if they — if they hurt her — if they so much as lay a finger on her —
Tad: Colby needs you calm. You cannot afford to let your mind go there.
Adam: How could you let this happen? Good grief. I have — I knew things were dire when you suggested that Krystal come live under my roof for safekeeping. Yeah, that’s — that’s so far past your usual screwups. I mean, they got — they could’ve gotten Krystal, too.
Tad: They didn’t.
Adam: Yeah. And you call yourself her husband.
Tad: Why don’t you back off?
Adam: You are a walking disaster area, Martin. Huh. It’s lucky that your little daughter, Kate, your precious daughter, was raised by strangers, because you probably would’ve put her life in danger, too.
Tad: I’m going to let that one go —
Adam: Hmm.
Tad: Because I know the hell you’re going through right now. Whether you like it or not — and trust me, I don’t like it. You and I — we’re working together tonight. And if we don’t, somebody’s definitely not coming back alive. Got me?
Adam: Yeah. I guess I don’t have any choice, do I?
Tad: You don’t.

Adam shows him a photo that Colby gave to him this morning, it’s her senior photo. He asks if Tad got one and he says yes. Adam gets weepy about Colby, almost hysterical saying all he wants is Colby. Tad is concerned about his heart and asks if he’s ok. Adam says yes. “Are you sure? I don’t want you keeling over. Adam says he’s FINE and then Tad says let’s go get Colby back and they leave. Next we see Rafael at the airstrip and he’s letting Robert know that Jesse is driving up to the hangar now. End scene.
