Frankie shows up at Randi’s room with a bloody hand. She asks if he did punched out Fletcher and he tells her he had to do something.
AT PO PO CHIEF OFFICE
Angie’s exploding on Jesse about him putting a tail on Cass. And he tells her about his suspcion regarding Richie’s murder. Angie asks him if he thinks “our” daugther is involved in a murder. Funny how it’s “our daughter” now and Friday’s convo it was HER daughter. LOL. End scene.

BACK AT PO PO
Jesse fills Angie and on the details about the tire tracks. Apparently the ones lifted from Richie’s clothing were from a very expensive car in town and nobody owns something like that but Adam Chandler. And Adam gave a car to Colby on her birthday and Cass was hangin’ with Colby and they went to the lodge - the same road were Richie was run down. Angie asks him if he talked to Adam them about this and he said he did but Adam’s slick and Jesse can’t prove that he got rid of the car to protect himself. Or protect Colby he says, he then tells her that he walked in on the kids, Cass, Colby and Dre and he asked them about the drive to and from the lodge. Cass told him that they took Colby’s old car. Angie can’t believe that Jesse didn’t believe what Cass said was true. He tells her that it’s instinct and he’s trying to believe her but the kids were trying to be mad kewl but were mad scared. She asks if he asked the kids if they hit Richie and he tells her no, he didn’t want to push it not till he had more to go on. “So, you thought you’d get more by following Cassandra?” Angie says. Jesse tells her that he told her already the cop was out of line and he’s an idiot. She says that he scared on her half to death and her and Frankie. Jesse said he knows and apologizes to her. Then Angie tells them that Frankie is convinced that the Cass is being stalked by Fletcher and that he needs to have a talk with him. Jesse says that he will talk to Frankie and make sure he stays clear of that “derelict pimp”. End scene.
AT PV MOTEL
Randi asks Frankie if he killed Fletcher and he says Fletcher was following his sister, clearly avoiding the question. Randi thinks that maybe he did and Frankie says guys like him don’t know when to quit. “Someone has to make them quit,” he says. Randi asks him one more time if Frankie killed Fletcher. He gives her a look and says he’s got to get washed up and leaves the room. End scene.

AT PV MOTEL
Randi calls a friend and asks if she’s heard from Fletcher. Randi says she’s been calling his phone all day but she hasn’t heard from him. Her friend tells her she has not heard from Fletcher. Frankie walks into the room cleaning up the wounds on his hand and says that one of them is still bleeding. Randi gives him a look and tells him that she has called four girls about Fletcher and not one of them has talked to him. Frankie tells her that because he’s in no shape to talk. Randi asks how he can be so cool, “you may have killed the guy.” He tells her Fletcher came into his house threatened his mother and was stalking his sister and that he crossed the line one too many times. Randi yells at him that it was he (Frankie) who crossed the line by making her his charity case. He tells her that she’s not a charity case and that she doesn’t understand what they (you and I) have. She asks what do you mean “you and I” have. He tells her he can’t explain it except to say that ever since the first day that he saw her, he felt at tug or pull towards her and that’s why he can’t let it go. Her cell phone rings and someone is talking about Fletcher. Randi asked her if Fletcher is still alive as Frankie looks on visibly concerned. End scene.
AT THE PO PO CHIEF OFFICE
Jesse calls Frankie cell phone and gets his voicemail. He leaves him a message and asks him to please call him when he gets the message. Angie has picked up the photo from their wedding off Jesse’s desk. Jesse tells her that he’s taken care of calling Frankie and he’ll set him straight on Fletcher when he hears back from him. He apologizes to her one more time about the cop. She reminds him the night before Cass moved here they were in bed and he was holding her in his arms and he promised that he would reach out to Cass and how much he wanted her to be a part of their family. “And I have,” Jesse tells her. Angie tells him that you don’t treat family like criminals. He tells her he not treating Cass like a criminal. She says “not just a criminal, a murder suspect”. “Baby, I didn’t want it to come to this” he says sitting down. She says it’s come to this because you suspect our daughter AND and kept to himself, she had to find out by accident. She wants to know why he didn’t just tell her. End scene.

CHIEF OFFICE
Jesse tells Angie that Cassandra might have seen something the night Richie was run down and is just afraid to tell anyone. He didn’t want to tell Angie about it and get her upset. “You didn’t think I could handle it” she questions Jesse with a harsh tone. Jesse tells her that she handling enough as it is - she’s worried about Frankie, etc. “And so you didn’t think I should have to worry about Cass? She is my daughter.” She goes on to tell him the second that he susspected Cass was in trouble or distress he should have told her instead of sending an officer to follow Cass. “I was trying to protect her,” Jesse says. “From what,” Angie asks. “From whoever did run Richie down,” he tells her. Angie asks if he thinks Cass could be in danger. Jesse tells her that he didn’t want to take the chance to talk to her more about it until Cass was ready to speak. And and he wanted to make sure she was safe. Angie tells him that she’ll see him at home it opens the office door. “Wait baby”, he says. He tells her that he was just keeping the family safe. “You should’ve told me”, she says. Jesse tells her that she’s right — he should have and he’s sorry. Angie leaves. An officer opens the door and says “Chief” and Jesse snaps his head off screaming “WHAT”. End scene
AT PV MOTEL
Randi thanks Celine for the call and hangs up. She tells Frankie that they’re taking Fletcher to St. Mary’s and he’s going to be okay. “Too bad”, Frankie replies. “Thank God, he’s alive, Frankie”, she says back to him. He tells her he over this and he doesn’t get how she could care for this man after what he did to her. Randi tells him that he doesn’t understand. “No, I understand clearly, Randi. You don’t owe him anything,” he retorts. Randi tells him that she doesn’t care about Fletcher. “Oh, really”, Frankie says. She tells him she hates Fletcher and he asks her why she is so relieved that he’s alive then. “Because! Now you don’t have to go down for murder. I don’t what you hurt for him,” she says. End scene.
BACK AT PV MOTEL
Frankie apologizes to Randi saying that he sorry for coming at her like that. She tells him she’s sorry he’s a doctor and that she was even at the hospital. “Randi, don’t do this,” he says. Randi sighs and tells him she’ll do whatever the hell she wants. Frankie tells her that it’s okay for her to care and she tells him to stop talking. He tells her that he will never hurt her — never. She looks away and says that she has some Band-Aids in her purse. She looks at his hand and says it’ has stopped bleeding. End scene.

AT THE HUBBARD BROWNSTONE
“You’re home early,” Cass says as Angie enters their home. “Cassandra, you break my heart. You know that”? Angie says to her. End scene.
BACK AT CHIEF’S OFFICE
Jesse is on the phone trying to track Frankie down. He is told Frankie is in the ER today and Jesse asks if they are sure about that. He asks if someone will please tell Frankie to call his father when he shows up and that it’s really important. He thanks them and hangs up. An officer comes in and tells him that they got a call from St. Mary’s Hospital and that the pimp that showed up at Jesse’s house was there. “Fletcher Parks,” Jesse asks. The officer nods and says that some guy beat him up bad at a bar and he’s in critical condition. Jesse asks for a description of the assailiant. The office says it was an African-American in his late 20’s, approximately 6 foot tall with a buzz cut, white shirt and black vest and mad as hell. Jesse tells him thanks. After the officer leaves Jesse says “Frankie”. End scene.
AT PV MOTEL
Randi tries to lure Frankie to bed with her. He tells her that she is doing this because he feels like she owes him. She tells him she does owe him. And he tells her “no you don’t”. He tells her that he wants her, but not like this and says he will call her and Randi says okay. Frankie leaves, she goes to the window and watches him. AMC does this whole “music/video montage showing other couples on the show. End scene. End episode.
Many of us have noticed the absence of previews from the end of our beloved AMC episode to the next one. And why is that? Well it turns out ABC has decided they will no longer show any previews for upcoming epsiodes at the end of the current episode. They will instead use it for another purpose as they see fit. The last previews aired on June 27, 2008.
