Angie and Jesse

Greetings AnJ Lovers!

Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour or as soon as otterly possible.

OKAY HERE WE GO….

AT PVH - Angie tells Ryan and Annie that it will take coroner awhile to perform the autopsy so they should go out and get some coffee or go to a movie, etc. Annie freaks at the word movie and Ryan tells Angie that Annie was at a movie when Richie died. Angie apologizes. End scene.

AT PVPD i.e. PO-PO STATION - Jesse and Zach go at it at the station. They banter back and forth and Jesse tells Zach that it’s now a murder investigation and he’s a person of interest. End scene.

INTRO MUZAK

PVH - Angie tells Annie if she needs anything, let her know and she has to go do rounds. Ryan tells Angie that there was something different about Annie before Richie died but when Angie presses him for more info, he backs off. Angie tells him to let her know if they need anything and leaves.

PVPD - Jesse and Zach continue their investigation dance and Zach tells Jesse to take him off the list, he’s not the one who killed Richie. Jesse tells him that there is too much evidence that points to him for now. End scene.

MEANWHILE AT CHANDLER MANSION - Cass, Sliza, jr. and Dre figure they are responsible for Richie’s murder and it was Dre that was driving - he’s now convinced himself that he’s responsible for it and the son of a senatorial candidate. End scene.

PVH - Angie hears laughter coming from Randi’s room as she passes by on her rounds. She stops and looks in and sees Frankie with her, making her laugh. Angie just watches from the doorway - end scene.

POSTING….

PVPD - Jesse and Zach love the banter between them, you can tell how amused they both are and enjoy it! Jesse finds out from Angie that Richie was hit by a car and that it was a hit and run situation. Jesse says he thinks the hit part is right, not sure on the run as he looks in at Zach waiting in his office. He thanks Angie “Thank you, baby!” he says to her. “That’s Dr. Baby to you” she replies. “You are too much,” he says as they hang up and he goes in to talk to Zach. He tells Zach that he doesn’t have to hold him for murder and he wants him to tell him about the bruises he put on Richie. End scene.

NOVAK MURDER UPDATE - AT CHANDLER MANSION - The kids all agree not to tell anyone about their involvment even though it was suggested Cass talk to Jesse.

AT PVH Annie recalls her last moments with Richie and we see she’s the one who killed Richie. She is clearly aware of it and won’t be confessing anytime soon. End scene.

POSTING…

WRAPPING UP THE EPISODE - AT PVPD Jesse tries to get Zach to tell him all about the beating Richie received and Zach says nothing. He lets Zach know about Wallace and how he retired with his wife and was the one who was in charge of Richie that day. He tells Zach that he can figure this whole thing out and clear him if Zach will provide Jesse with full access to his banking records and make sure no large sums of money has left his accounts. Here’s their dialogue:

Jesse: Man took a hell of a beating.
Zach: In custody. You’ve got some tough cops in there.
Jesse: A cop didn’t do this.
Zach: No?
Jesse: No.
Zach: Maybe he fell down the stairs in his cell.
[Jesse chuckles]
Jesse: There was a guard named Wallace that was on duty when this guy got beat up.
Zach: Did Wallace confess yet?
Jesse: No. Actually, Wallace up and moved to costa rica with his wife.
Zach: What?
Jesse: Yeah.
Zach: I bet he loves it down there. My money’s on him.
Jesse: Well, even better put, your money is with him in his pocket, in his bank account, paying for his suntan lotion. You paid him off, Zach. Little quality time with Novak here?
Zach: Oh, you’ve got a lot of theories — you got a lot of those.
Jesse: Yeah. Well, why don’t we see if, um, I’m right? Give me access to your financials, huh? And we’ll see if any of those many benjamins of yours have up and walked away recently.
Zach: Oh, that’s a nice try. I don’t think anybody paid him with a personal check.
Jesse: You know what? I can find the proof and I can promise you that.

AT PVH - Angie and Frankie share a nice moment as he lets her know it’s all good about Randi and him not working on her case. He kisses her on the cheek and leaves.

BACK AT PVPD - Jesse asks Zach for more info and they continue their cat and mouse game. Here’s their dialogue:

Jesse: Well, we’ve had a nice little talk so far, a little give and take. So why don’t you take it the rest of the way and just tell me what you did.
Zach: Which one? Beat him up or run him down?
Jesse: Whatever works for you, man.
Zach: It’s good to see you, chief.
Jesse: Oh, so we’re done?
Zach: Yeah, we’re done. It’s a beautiful day. The Stanley cup’s back in Detroit where it belongs. My family is happy and safe. So I’m leaving.
Jesse: I’ll be in touch.
Zach: Not without a warrant. Richie Novak is dead. The only person that cares about that is you. Now, I told you I didn’t kill him. Do me a favor. Stay away from me and leave my family alone. Ok? Bye.
