Angie and Jesse

Greetings AnJ Lovers!

Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour or as soon as otterly possible.

OKAY HERE WE GO…AT PVH - Frankie looks on at Randi as Jesse and Angie look on at him from the hallway. Jesse says someone has been using that girl as a punching bag. Angie is worried about Frankie being into deep as it is when Jesse tells her he’s gotta do something about this. She makes it clear to him that she doesn’t need to worry about him too and this is not his business. End scene.

INTRO MUZAK

BACK AT PVH - Randi wakes up and gives her usual attitude to Frankie. Frankie tries to get her to tell him who did this to her.

“You don’t have to be a hero to do work that matters”, Angie tells Jesse as they continue their conversation in the hallway. Heres’ their dialogue:

Angie: Frankie’s job is to provide medical care for his patients, not get involved in their lives.

Jesse: Angela, he’s feeling guilty. He’s angry with himself because he couldn’t keep randi from getting hurt again.

Angie: Frankie can’t save everybody, and neither can you. Look, you knowhat? You don’t have to be a hero to do work that matters.

Jesse: It’s not about saving everybody, baby, it’s about wanting to come through for the people who need you.

END SCENE.

COMMERCIALS…BACK AT PVH - FANTASTIC DIALOUGE FOR OUR NEXT SCENE….

Angie: You’re right. I shouldn’t jump on Frankie for acting on a hunch. I mean, especially one that turned out to be right.

Jesse: He knew right away that that girl was being abused.

Angie: Well, Frankie has good instincts. It’s a part of what makes him a good doctor. That voice that says “something isn’t right here.”

Jesse: Well, see? You know where he’s coming from, right?

Angie: Yes, I do, but I don’t want him to get hurt. Hey, listen, I got to go see about a patient, but I want you to repeat after me —

Jesse: Angela —

Angie: No — “I, Jesse Hubbard am a professor of law enforcement. I no longer enforce the law.”

Jesse: I, Jesse Hubbard, am the proud father of Dr. Franklin Hubbard. And whether I’m a garbage man, a cop, or a professor, I will be there for my son whenever, however he needs me. Go to work.

[Frankie enters the hallway]

Jesse: Frankie, Frankie. What did she say about the man that beat her up?

Frankie: Easy, dad.

Jesse: Just tell me. What did Randi say?

Frankie: All right, what do you want to know?

Jesse: I got an idea.

END SCENE

SLEAZY BAR - Jesse’s gonna have issues when Angie finds out but you know he gotta do what he gotta do. So, he heads on over to a sleazy bar to find this guy Fletcher. He watches as Fletcher tries to get a girl come to work for him. She wants no part of him and makes that clear. He grabs her by the arm and squeezes and she tells him that he’s hurting her. Jesse of course has to step in now and Fletcher sees his interest. “Do I know you,” Fletcher asks Jesse. Jesse tells him he believes so and says he’ll buy Fletcher a drink and they’ll talk. End scene.

BACK AT PVH - Randi and Frankie continue their convo and he tells her she can trust him. Randi finally tells him that she’s a prostitute and she goes off on him as she tells him - and of course mama Angie is coming in on this too…here’s their dialogue:

Randi: The cash I had on me was from a guy

Frankie: A guy who pays you to —

Randi: Have sex, yes. I’m a prostitute. Isn’t that what you’ve been waiting to hear? Huh? That I’m some cheap slut you can rent for the night? So why don’t you just write me off and get the hell out of here?

Angie: What’s going on in here?

Frankie: It’s fine. It’s fine.

Angie: Frankie, can I speak with you, please? In private?

Angie: What’s going on?

Frankie: I finally got her talking.

Angie: Screaming is more like it.

Frankie: Randi refuses to see a social worker. She’s lying about her injuries. Do you know how huge that is?

Angie: She’s a patient, Frankie, nothing else.

Frankie: I have to get back in there.

Angie: Look, I want you to be careful.

Frankie: What does that mean?

Angie: It means you’re her doctor, nothing else.

Frankie: Right, mom, like you don’t know what it’s like to be personally involved with a patient. Like I’m not alive because of it.

FINAL RECAP FOR THE DAY…SLEAZY BAR - In order to set Fletcher up, Jesse pretends that he knows Randi and tells Fletcher about her being at the hospital and that she’s telling the police all she knows. Fletcher then of course later shows up at the hospital and starts to take his anger out on Randi. Frankie steps in and separates them, Jesse arrives with a cop in tow and they take Fletcher off to the station. Randi is mad at Frankie for turning her in to Fletcher even though he knew nothing of if. Angie “catches” Jesse and he admits that he helped setup Fletcher and take him down and how good it felt. She hates it but can’t disagree when he tells her that they did a good thing!
