Angie and Jesse

Greetings AnJ Lovers!

Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour or as soon as otterly possible.

OKAY HERE WE GO…

PVH - Angie’s pulling an all nighter and Jesse is there talking to her about him being alone, the passion of work - trying to make his point about the PVPD job. She just looks at him. She tells him she left some spaghetti in the fridge and he tells her he’s having dinner with a friend. She asks who and he says Detective Park, they used to work together back in the day. And she gives him a look, ready to say something and Jesse is saved by seeing Frankie. He stops him and says Frankie where you going. Frankie tells him he’d love to chat but he just got off his shift, he wants to change clothes and get outta here. Angie tells him she understands and he walks away. A nurse grabs Frankie before he can get out of there and let’s him know that Rhandi is back. He goes to see her and they have their usual not so nice words. She’s ticked off that they sent her him when she specifically asked for another doctor. Frankie tells her it’s nice to see her too and they spar some more. End scene.

MUSIC INTRO

PVH - Angie and Jesse continue their talk and she starts to grill him about this detective. He tells her to take it easy, he’s retired and teaches at PVU and might be able to hook him up with a job there. Well that certainly makes a difference to her and she’s glad to hear it.

Richie is brought in on a gurney with JR in tow as Jesse leaves she sees it and stays behind. Already interested and acting like a cop. He peers on from a distance and then intervenes when Richie awakens and says JR did this to him. Jesse begins to question JR about it. End scene.

COMMERCIALS

BACK AT PVH - Jesse talks with Babe about Richie and tells them if what Richie says is true, JR could be in a whole lot of trouble. Babe swears it was Richie who did terrible things to JR, taking his bone marrow, putting him in bed with a hooker. Jesse wants to know if there is anyone else who knows about this and Babe tells him the hooker for sure but she doesn’t have any info on her. Jesse is really in full cop mode, something Angie hasn’t seen so far. But Angie is shocked when JR reveals that Richie took his bone marrow and starts to wonder herself what is going on.

Frankie tells Rhandi that her wrist needs to be set and she gives him her usual attitude. In the end he wins and begins to set her wrist.

COMMERCIALS

PVH - Babe and Angie talk a bit about the bone marrow issue and she tells Babe she can see she’s serious because she called the cops. Angie tells them that Richie is okay there was no trace of poison in his body. Jesse asks why Richie passed out and Angie says he is still weak from his bone-marrow transplant, there’s more but she doesn’t know exactly what but she’s going to run some tests. Here’s some dialogue…

Babe: Angie, you were one of the doctors who treated J.R. After he was kidnapped.

Angie: Well, Joe saw him first when J.R. Came in with an acute pain in his side. His tox screens were clean. He went home.

Babe: But then Colby brought him back.

Angie: When I saw J.R., His pain had beco more severe. He had a — a scar on his side and a nasty skin infection, but we couldn’t determine the cause.

Jesse: Um, Babe said that J.R. had Hepatitis.

Angie: Yeah, but we weren’t sure how he contracted the virus. You know, the scar on J.R.’S hip could be a puncture wound. I mean, the fever, the weakness, infection. It all supports the possibility.

Babe: That J.R. Is telling the truth.

Angie: Someone did steal his bone marrow.

PVH HALLWAY - Jesse is walking down the hall with a very tall policeman - he makes Jesse look small LOL. Anyways, Jesse is asking this cop what he got from Chandler (JR). The cop (really a rookie and looks like it) starts spewing forth you’re a real hero to all the rookies, calling Jesse Detective Hubbard. Jesse tells him he appreciates the kind words and directs the conversation back to the task at hand. The rookie tells him that it’s the same as before, JR said he found him on the street, drove him to the E.R. Here’s some dialogue…

Jesse: And all these crimes Richie Novak supposedly confessed to?

Officer: Chandler says he just gave it all up, even the part about stealing his bone marrow. Sounds a little convenient. What’d you get? You know Jesse Hubbard?

Second officer: Right. Hello, sir. Novak was clearly agitated and had rope burns on his wrist that would go along with his claim that Chandler kidnapped him.

Jesse: But he wasn’t poisoned?

Officer: Oh, no, sir. But I think we got enough to collar Chandler.

Second officer: Let’s get him down to the station.

Jesse: Hold it, hold it, hold it, wait. Hold up, guys. You got people talking. That’s good. That’s key. But are you sure they’re telling you everything they know? Showing you everything there is to see?

Officer: You don’t want us to make an arrest?

Jesse: I think there’s got to be more to dig up on this one. You guys keep at it. You’d be surprised at what you might find. Wow, suddenly I feel ancient.

[Angie walks up - not too happy either seeing Jesse with the cops]

Hey, fellows, this is my wife Dr. Angela Hubbard.

Angie: Pleasure.

Jesse: Doctor, would you mind telling these fine young officers how they might go about finding or confirming a person’s bone-marrow donor?

[she give Jesse a look as he slips off]

Angie: Well, we’d start with a DNA panel from the recipient.

WRAPPING IT UP TODAY…

PVH - Frankie finishes Randi’s cast telling her to keep it dry and clean and he’ll see her in two weeks for a check-up. “Great, can’t wait,” she says and then asks if Frankie is off now. He looks a bit shocked but says yes about an hour ago. Randi asks to buy him a cup of coffee since she kept him there past his shift. Frankie tells her sure and that he just has to grab his bag. She changes her mind really quickly and tells him that she forgot she took an extra shift and asks for a rain check. “With one arm,” he asks. She says yeah, she is going to have to deal with it and that she’s sorry she has to go. End scene.

JR and Babe have a chat about Richie. She’s finally gotten a vowel and solved the clue of who Richie is and apologizes to JR for believing Richie and not him. JR says this guy is going down and that counts is she believes him now. End scene.

Jesse continues his talk with the baby cops and tells them that Chief Frye filled him in on Richie’s cases and he’s very bad news. Jesse tells them he did seven years for armed robbery and assault and that he’s trouble wherever he goes. Baby cop asks if he buys JR’s story and Jesse says he’s not sure but he has an eye witness lined up so we’ll see. Baby cop kinda objects to the hooker as a good witness and Jesse gives them both some cop schooling. He tells them all they need to know to be able to get the paperwork started on Richie Novak. Even gives him the name of a Judge that was a public defender back in the day and says to use his name.

BACK IN RICHIE’S STALL (yes I meant stall LOL) - He asks Angie what’s going on out there and wants to know if they arrested Chandler, Jr. yet. Angie tells him to put his mask back on (she’s not fooling around w/him). He can’t let it go and asks what all the cops are doing out there swimming around her husband. He tells her he heard he was a big-time law man back in the day, on the run for 20 years, etc. He’s so clueless about Angie’s feelings on this LOL…He pokes more at her with words saying it looks like Jesse’s deep in it again. Angie tells him they are just talking and gives him that eye. He prods more and asks what they are talking about and she’s done now. “You know what? I would worry less about that and more on your recovery. Or you may never get out of here,” she says. “Ok. Yes, ma’am,” he says. Then he tries to whine Angie into letting him see Babe. She’s on his last nerve and gives him a big old sigh. She tells him he needs rest and he whines more. Then he thinks JR has gotten to her and that she now belives JR’s story. He begs her to help him, prove he’s not guilty of what JR says, etc. She’s over him and says put your oxygen mask back on. End scene.

LAST SCENE…Jesse’s finishing up baby cop talk and they thank him. They all walk down the hallway chatting and they tells Jesse maybe they should start calling him chief. Word on the street is he’s taking over. Of course this is all in earshot of Angie. Jesse looks at them and says it’s rumor and his cop days are over. He reaches over and kisses Angie’s cheek and she just looks at him, with that look.
