Wednesday’s Episode (5/21/2008) Wedding!!!
Greetings AnJ Lovers!
Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour.
WEDDING DAY!!!!!!
OKAY HERE WE GO…
AT THE HOTEL - Jesse is at Angie’s door - she asks who it is through the door. He said it’s me baby, I just wanted to check on you. He says he really just wanted to see her. She tells him she’ll see him very soon. He asks if she’s ready and she says, you better believe I’m ready, I’ve waited years for this. End scene.
AT TAD’S HOUSE - Tad is holding Jenny and telling her this is an great day. Today her Uncle Jesse and Aunt Angie are getting married, isn’t that amazing!! We see Dixie watching him. End scene.
Intro Muzak
ANGIE’S ROOM - She’s freaking looking for her earrings. Cass tries to calm her down. She laughs as Angie sees that her earrings on on her ears. Cass teases her about being nervous. Angie tells her getting married is a very serious thing and she’s very blessed.
Over in Jesse’s room he is sharing his nervousness with Frankie. It’s the real deal man, it’s how it should be when you get married.
They are doing separate segements showing the men and women each saying a line and hugging one another.
Jesse says come on man, let’s get dressed. End scene.
AT THE CASINO - People arrive for the service, Babe, J.R., Jack, the Martins, Jake, now Kendall and Greenlee. The room is magnificent!! Kendall says they outdid themselves, it’s wonderful. Zach comes in to make sure things are going smooth for Angie & Jesse.
WE SEE ROBERT ON PHONE - Says the bride and groom are in the building and he’s going to the zoo to see lions, tigers and elephants - oh my. End scene.
BACK IN ANGIE’S ROOM - Cass goes through her backpack and says now she can’t find her earrings. She finds a gift box and asks if it’s from her mom. Angie tells her no, she got one too. She reads a poem by Anias Nin about blossoming. It’s one of Cass’ favorite poets. Angie smiles and then reads hers aloud - touching and beautiful poem by Wordsworth. Cass asks Angie’s help putting on the bracelet Jesse got her and tells her how lucky her mother is and how much she appreciates Jesse. End scene.
In the casino lobby, Tad is talking to Krystal about how today is going to be a perfect day. Dixie in the background says no it’s not Tad. End scene.
COMMERCIALS
WEDDING ROOM - Opal’s outfit announces her presence and then she is shocked by Greg’s appearance. She can hardly believe her eyes and asks how he is - hugs him. He tells her he lives in Seattle and teaches history. He tells her Angie, Jesse and him visited Jenny’s grave yesterday. Not a day goes by I don’t miss my sweet Jenny, she says to him. He says they all do. End scene.
Stuart and Marion talk - she’s worried she’s not wanted there because of all the past grief she caused them. Stuart clams her. End scene.
Greg shocks Tad by saying hello. He’s stunned by it and then hugs him as he says “bless me”, introduces Krystal and baby Jenny. Her name is Jenny, Opal tells him - she’s full of love like her namesake. Greg is just, well…stunned too. End scene.
LOBBY - Jesse rushes in, freaking out - thinking he may be late. Tad calms him down. Ne-Yo shows up and introduces him as Frankie whch Frankie corrects to Franklin. Tad asks how he got a superstar to come to a wedding. Jesse says he has connections. Ne-Yo says he heard about this story and couldn’t turn it down and he’s singing for Jesse’s lady. A throng of fans arrive and push autograph books in Ne-Yo’s face. Jesse says hey, i’m the groom, come on over here - joking with them. End scene.
Tad picks up Kathy (Kate) and hugs her. Jake watches on and Dixie’s voice tells him that Tad needs him. He watches Tad with Kate. End scene.
THIS IS IT - CEREMONY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN - Tad teases Jesse about it, looks nervous, Tad laughs. End scene.
AT THE CONDO - Robert has searched it and cannot find the elephant. Looks like I’m going to a wedding he says as he leaves the condo.
BACK AT WEDDING - Jesse is looking kinda weak in the knees. Frankie teases him and says he told him to eat this morning. Jesse wants to know what’s taking so long. Frankie calms him down.
Everyone gets seated and the doors open, we see Cass as she makes her way down the aisle, Ne-Yo begins to sing and she didn’t know about him either - and smiles at his presnence. She and Frankie stand together in the center of the room. Jesse walks foward as hundreds of flowers are lowered from the ceiling. The doors open again and we see the gorgeous bride. Jesse holds his hand to his chest, he can barely breathe looking at this woman. She hears and sees Ne-Yo and gives Jesse that look, that smile and y’all are bawling, I know it. They join hands and look at each other and the preacher begins the vows. The minister asks everyone to join hands - tells them they are all connected, asking God to bless their union now. He says Angie and Jesse asked others to read some things. Stuart, Greg, Tad all read things from cards. Frankie and Cass both read - when they meet they know, that’s why love is never ending or begging - it is always and forever. A&J look at each other, smile and scene ends!!
BACK AT CEREMONY - Time for the vows. Angie looks at everyone and starts to say “When Jesse” she squeaks it out. She stops and says big breath and starts again.
****LOOK there’s no way to write this - its very touching and beautiful what they say to each other. I will post the vows in their entirety soon.
Jesse says “You are my purpose sweet lady. You are my future and I can’t wait to live every minute of the future with you.” They hug and cry together and the minister begins with the official vows.
They exchange rings (more on this…words, etc. coming soon.) in a beautiful, endearing way. They are pronounced husband and wife Jesse holds her face gently in his hands and kisses his bride. Everyone cheers, claps and stand up. And then we see Robert enter the room. End scene.
FINAL SCENES TODAY…
BACK AT WEDDING - Cass thanks Jesse for her bracelet. Greg is playing with Jenny and Opal says she feels a spirit there today and says it must be Jenny. We know it’s Dixie and we see Kate. Robert tries to find out where they have a room telling Krystal he has a special present for them and he wants to deliver it himself. She doesn’t bite and leaves to take care of baby Jenny. Opal makes her way to him and greets him in her clueless way. You can tell he’ll be able to use her for the info. End scene.
