Angie and Jesse

Greetings AnJ Lovers!

Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour.

OK HERE WE GO…AT THE COMEBACK

Tad and Jesse sitting at table having lunch. Tad’s beating himself up about how long it’s taken him to find a lead on Kate. Jesse tells him not to be so hard on himself. Angie and Krystal both come over and ask how did Tad find Hazel Moorehouse. Tad said he didn’t, it was his friend Tammy. Turns out Ms. Moorehouse applied for a liquor license not too far from there. Krystal asks Tad to keep her updated and she hopes Hazel has the answers. Tad says she will, he knows because ever since he visited Dixie’s grave, it’s like she’s leading him right to Kate. End scene.

Over at Chandler Mansion - Adam enters the living area with a plate of peanut butter and bananna pancakes (that’s what killed Dixie). He yells out for her to come out and play with him like they did yesterday and taunts her to come throw this plate of pancakes at him. Nothing happens, but he continues to taunt her and asks her to prove she is for real. End scene.

INTRO MUZAK…

WEDDING SHOP - Krystal and Angie arrive at the same wedding shop, Greenpea and Kendall are at. The sales lady tells them they are closed for a private show today and G&K enter the room asking what they are doing there. Greens invites Angie to stay since she saved her life and tells them both to have some champagne and join the party! “Find the dress of your dreams unless it’s mine”, Greenpea says to Angie. Angie says she can’t join in, it’s Greenlea’s day and they all agree that Dr. Hubbard needs some pampering as the party begins!!!

BACK AT CHANDLER MANSION - Adam still in living room reading newspaper. JR comes in and they talk about biz. JR asks what’s with the pancakes. Adam says he got to busy to eat them. JR says he’ll get rid of them and Adam tells him no no no. JR has another discussion with him about how he needs a break. Adam tells him this discussion is over and leaves the room.

IN AN ALLEY WAY - Jesse and Tad show up at the Sunshine Bar, which is closed. Tad notices the sign and talks about Dixie singing the song you are my sunshine all the time to JR. “We’re one step closer, we gotta be”, he says as scene ends.

WEDDING SHOP - Girls are all drinking, looking at dresses as Greens models them. Music video time with sparse dialogue. Now we see Angie shaking her head to several dresses being shown to her, rack after rack and nothing she likes. She holds a dress up to her and just sighs. More champagne as Krystal tries on a dress too and Kendall must join in. They try to get Angie more in the mood as Greenlea puts a tiara on her, she rolls her eyes and smirks. End scene.

CHANDLER MANSION - Adam continues to try taunt Dixie out as he brings in a music box playing “You are my sunshine”, he smiles and waits for her, but nothing is happening. He can’t believe it and says it was the medication and slams the music box lid down. Just as it closes, we hear Dixie humming the song and Adam looks around, silently freaking out as he then hears Dixie laugh uncontrollably. End scene.

SUNSHINE BAR - Jesse asks Tad to fill him in on Hazel and her connection to Kate. Tad tells him of the dastardly Dr. Madden and his plan to raise his own private race by inseminating women all over the world. “Scarey scenario”, Jesse says. Jesse asks what happened to Madden and Tad told him he’s dead. “Pine Valley is deep”, Jesse says as he laughs a bit. Tad tells him how Dixie got involved with Madden and how he convinced Dixie that she was dying and to give up Kate. Just then Hazel shows up and Tad is visibly nervous as he wipes the sweat from his brow and neck. He tells Jesse to hold up, he needs to collect himself a bit. Then bikers show up and Jesse says they are not gonna screw this up and he has a plan. End scene.

WEDDING SHOP - Greenlee tells Angie she’s going to find the perfect dress and Jesse’s jaw will drop just like Aidan’s will. End scene.

SUNSHINE BAR - Jesse goes into the bar and Hazel asks what she can get him. He says a beer or anything cold. Hazel gives him a beer and tells him it be $3. She gives him the once over not sure he’s gonna pay, etc. He gives her the money and tells her to keep change. He says he’s been riding all day and tries to look like a biker. He asks if she has had this place long and she says long enough. Then two guys enter and Hazel tells them she’ll be with them as she takes chairs off tables. They walk up behind Jesse and one grabs Jesse from behind and puts a knife to his throat. Hazel yells at them to leave him alone and the guy tells her to shut up or Jesse gets it. End scene.

COMMERCIALS…

SUNSHINE BAR - A fight ensues as Jesse gets free, has a knife and the cash the guys were trying to steal. He tells them they have to make a choice and they flee. Jesse tells Hazel it;s okay and gives her back her cash. She hugs him and tells him he’s a hero. End scene.

WEDDING SHOP - Krystal asks Angie when they were going to hold their wedding and Angie says real soon, but every place is booked. Kendall and Greens enter the room - both tipsy and laughing. Kendall tells Angie that she has the perfect place for their wedding - the casino had a booking cancel and they could use it if they wanted. Angie tells Kendall thank you and that she will talk about it with Jesse and let her know. And then, it happens, the dress Angie has been seeking makes it’s way into the room via the arms of the sales lady. Angie’s face brightens and she smiles as the dress is brought closer to her. She’s totally falling in love with this dress and says she’s going to try on a dress afterall. End scene.

CHANDLER MANSION - Opal has been summoned by Adam and she wants to know what is so tarnation important LOL. He asks her if she still does that psychic thing. Opal tells him that it’s not something that one practices, it’s god-given and you are born with it. “Good”, he says - he wants her services and he’s going to pay her for it. “For what?”, she says. Adams tells her he needs her to tell him if his house is haunted. End scene.

WEDDING SHOP - Greens has lady put a bunch of dresses on hold and she’ll figure out the maybes and to call her for next shipment of dresses. AND THEN…Kendall and Krystal look behind Greens as Angie walks out in her dress. They are all glowing at her and even Greens admits that she’s gorgeous and totally envious of Angie and that dress. Of course they don’t show us it but we know she’s looking fine in that dress! Angie tears up and turns toward the mirro and says this is it - this is my wedding dress. Scene ends.

SUNSHINE BAR - Hazel tells Jesse he’s an honest to goodness hero. He says he doesn’t know about that. She asks his name and he tells her “Jesse Hubbard”. Well God Bless ya, Jesse Hubbard she says as she clinks beer bottles with him. (What rock does she live under that she doesn’t know his name?) She winks at him and says she owes him one. Outside in the alley, Tad is busy paying off the thugs who performed this so called hold-up. One of the guys says his friend (Jesse) is tougher than he looks. Tad smile and says yeah, he’s one in a million! He thanks them again, shakes hands and they walk off. Tad opens his wallet and we see the photo of Dix. He caresses it, closes his wallet and says in a whisper “one step closer, Dixie, one step closer.” End scene.
