Angie and Jesse

Greetings!

Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour.

HERE WE GO…

AT THE CONDO - Cass in bedroom drawing and Angie knocks on door, comes in. Just checking to see if you need anything, Angie says. Cass smiles and says the answer is the same as it was five minutes ago. Angie says okay and slowly walks off. “Seriously mom, you are as subtle as a freight train,” Cass says. What’s going on she asks. Angie tells Cass she hasn’t lost her ability to read her. “Like a book,” Cass says, so what’s up. Angie tells her that she wanted to get her opinion, her honest opinion about Jesse. End scene.

Over at PVH - Frankie is giving Jesse a checkup. Jesse said that staying away all these years he thought was the hardest thing until now. Frankie smiles and tells him to relax, it’s just a checkup. Jesse is freaking about having to get life insurance, mandated physical, etc. And the last time he was at PVH he was prounced dead. End scene.

TAD’S OFFICE - Tad’s still looking for Dixie’s photo that is missing. It’s at Chandler Mansion - setting up the Dixie return/Kate found by Tad and Jesse storyline.

CONDO….Angie sits up on Cass’s bed and says she’s curious as to how Cass feels about it all and she’s okay with everything. Frankie’s home safe from war, you are happier than I have ever seen you and I’ve been in beautuiful paris fo a year”, Cass tells her. Angie thanks her for being so great about all of this and that it has to be kind of strange for her - with Jesse looking like her dad. Cass tells her it’s not the most normal thing, but she’ll get used to it. She tells her she’s happy for her and that Jesse seems like a great guy. Angie says he is and that he absolutely adored Cass. Cass says, really? And follows it up by saying how could he not? Angie laughs and says she’s glad Cass is home!
End scene.

BACK AT PVH - Jesse tells Frankie he’s really proud of him and Frankie says he knows. Jesse says he means all this time he’s been really proud of him all this time even though he wasn’t around to say it. “Thanks, dad”, Frankie says and asks if he’s saying all this to butter him up. “I like butta”, Jesse says and tells him no, why would he do such a thing. Frankie suggests to pass his physical exam. Jesse says he’s the finest specimen ever seen. Frankie smiles and tells him they know his ego is intact and goes to check his lung. He notices the scars on Jesse’s back and is visibly disturbed and walks around Jesse and asks what did they do to him. Scene ends.

AT PVH - Jesse is telling Frankie to get off him, stop looking. Frankie asks him if he still thinks about it and he says less and less. Frankie starts asking about Papel and the elelphant and if Jesse’s having a hard time letting go. He says yes, but it’s worth it because it makes Angie happy and he’s done with trying to figure it out. He tells Frankie he needs to close that door because his mom’s making an honest man of him. They joke about the wedding and her going crazy but it’s all good - they are all together. Jesse asks Frankie to be his best man. Frankie doestn’ take him seriously at first, but Jesse tells him it would be cool and nothing would make him prouder! Frankie accepts and they hug. End scene.

HOTEL ROOM - We see the snake aka Robert talking on the phone to someone about faxing over information on his wife totally doing a con job. He thanks the person for the info and says that his wife is the last person the government should be looking into. He calls her “My ANGIE”. End scene.

BACK AT CONDO - Cass’s room - Angie asks Cass to be her maid of honor. Cass is shocked that they wanted her to be up there with them all. They talk about Jacob and Cass asks if Angie really loved him, etc. She tells her yes. Cass says but not more than Jesse. End scene.

HOTEL ROOM - Smarmy Robert clenches his teeth and says “Where is that damn stuffed elephant?”

CASS’S ROOM - We see the stuffed elephant under the bed. Camera pans up to the bed where Cass and Angie continue their convo. Cass asks Angie what it was like falling in love with Jesse. Angie doesn’t know how to describe but, they were so young. It took over everything and she means everything. When she wasn’t with Jesse she was thinking about what they’d do, where they’d go when they were together. And nobody ever took them down, not for long she says. Cass says, until someone did. Angie says that’s right, I never thought I’d get over Jesse’s death and she guesses in a way she never did. But life went on, she met Jacob and they had Cass and she wouldn’t change anything! Cass asks Angie what it’s like with Jesse now. Angie tells her that even though they have aged on the outside, the love in their hearts picked up where they left off. Angie tells her she can’t wait to see her the first time she falls in love, unless she has already. End scene.

BACK AT PVH - Julia shows up with a wheelchair to take Jesse down to x-ray. She’s doing a double-shift so she can take her daughter on a field trip tomororw. Jesse says “Kathy?” Julia is surprised that Jesse remembers her name and he tells her Tad is seriously crushing on that youngin’. Julia smiles and says Kathy feels the same way about him. End scene.

BACK AT PVH - Frankie tells Jesse that his x-rays look good “Mr. Hubbard”. Jesse’s headed back home as is Frankie so that he can take Cass to The Comeback. Jesse says isn’t it something, that they are starting to be/act like a real family. Let’s bounce as you young people you say. Frankie and him hug and laugh walking out of the exam room.

CONDO - Cass starts playing with Angie trying to make her think that she’s had six boyfriends and friends with benefits. Of course it’s not true, but she enjoys yanking mom’s chain. They laugh and Cass sets her straight, telling her nobody yet, etc. Angie is still waiting to hear the answer to her question about being her maid of honor. Cass says she would love too, they giggle and hug. End scene.

HOTEL ROOM - We see another oragami piece completed and Robert is on the phone again with the charity making sure that they didn’t have the elephant as it seems to be missing from the list. They assure him the elephant wasn’t part of the inventory and he thanks them and hangs up. End scene.

CONDO - CASS’s ROOM - She’s alone now and has the elephant. Talking to it about the talk she and Angie just had and that she’ll probably be a virgin the rest of her life. She confides further in the elephant that she’s trying really hard to go with the happily ever after flow around there, but she just doesn’t know Jesse. Frankie knocks on her door and they haead off to The Comeback. End scene.

OUTSIDE THE COMEBACK - Frankie and Cass arrive. She peers through the window and sees Dre who is there with Colby. Cass smiles and tells Frankie she could get used to this place.

BACK AT CONDO - Jesse comes up behind Angie, in Cass’s room, hugs her and they talk about the kids and how wonderful it is to have PEACE, no high alerts, no nerves, just them and the kids. Angie agrees and says it’s the best sound she’s ever heard as the camera pans down to that damn elephant under Cass’s bed.

HOTEL ROOM - Snake man aka Robert is ticked off about the elephant and is listening to Angie’s conversation when she told Jesse and the rest about the elephant. He asks aloud “Why are you lying to me Angie? You want to keep that diamond for yourself?” I’m sorry, I’ve just never been good at sharing.” End scene.
