Angie and Jesse

Greetings!

Today’s episode recap will begin when our storyline starts and will be updated LIVE throughout the hour.

Here we go….

At condo - Angie asks Frankie to put pillows on Cassandra’s bed - upright, not flat. Jesse and Frankie make fun of her. She says my baby’s coming home and I don’t care what you say. She’s waited for this day her whole life - all of the people she loves in one room. Frankie is concerned his mother could explode from so much happiness. Angie says “my daughter home, my family together, it’s just the way it’s meant to be. End Scene.

Over at Tad’s office - he’s on the phone talking to someone about a woman named Hazel who used to work for Dr. Madden - still trying to track Kate down. He hangs up the phone and says “I’m not about to give up on you yet Kate.” End Scene.

———NEXT SCENE

AT CONDO - Jesse comes running out of the back room and says I should change right - looking a bit nervous. Angie tells him not to change. Jesse’s over at the stove cooking up some chili. Angie tells him to add extra red pepper flakes because Cassandra likes them…or does she. Now she’s getting flustered about the arrival. Jesse tells her it’s gonna be okay. Angie tells him she needs a favor. She says it’s been a long time since Cass has been home and as great as this all feels. Jesse interupts and says “it might be weird for her.” “A little”, Angie says. He asks if she wants to go by herself and she says “you mind” he says no, he’ll finish up around here. They exchange I love you’s. She says don’t mess up the house as she puts on her coat to leave. Frankie walks out and says “don’t drive too fast.” Angie tells him to go clean his room and leaves. Jesse and Frankie laugh about what Angie said and then Jesse says is your room clean? End Scene.

———NEXT SCENE

AT PV AIRPORT…Angie greets Cass as she gets off the plane. Angie hugs her calling her baby.

Back over at condo - Jesse is dropping stuff in the kitchen, getting nervous over Cass’s arrival. Frankie starts playin with him. Jesse says all these years on the run and he’s afraid of a little girl. Frankie tells him that little girls can smell fear. Jesse tells Frankie he would like for Cass to like him because she’s your mother’s daughter and I love your mother.

Back at PV Airport - Angie tells Cass that’s she is excited to get her home. Cass stalls asking if htey can just stand around for a bit - stretch her legs after all that flying. Angie tells her that maybe she’s just nervous because she has no idea what she is getting into. End scene.

———NEXT SCENE

Back at Condo…Jesse tastes the chili and says WOW that’s hot! If seh likes hot peppers, this should be cool. Frankie’s irritated by Cassie moving back in all the fuss about her pillows, etc. Jesse asks him what this Cassandra Foster is like and he says she’s way more artsy than him, a little flakey but deep, real deep - writes poetry but won’t let anyone look at it. You can look at her art, but not her poetry, so forget about it. Jesse asks what her personality is like and Frankie tells him it’s just like he said - she’s her mother’s daughter. She’s stubborn. Jesse says “strength”. She can fly off like the handle like you’ve never seen. “Passion. That’s intensity, like you,” Jesse says. Dad, she’s 18 and a p p p p pain in the ass, Frankie yells. Jesse tells him she can be a p p p p pain in the ass wherever she wants as long as she is cool with him being with your moms.

Back at PV Airport….Angie is telling Cass that it’s okay to be scared. She says she’s not scared. Angie tells her that she is and it’s okay. Cass says maybe she’s just thirsty and gets up to go find something to drink. Angie tells her not to go and Cass says what do you want me to say? It’s a little weird for her because now she’s fallen in love again with Frankie’s dad, who was dead for 20 years, so that’s kind of out there. Angie tells her she has so much to tell her, but not yet. Cass says so we are going to go do this? Go to your placen and Jesse’s place and… Angie stops her and says it’s all of ours and you can stay as long as you want. Maybe we’ll drive by PVU, my alma mater on the way home - they have a great pre-med program, arts, music. WHOA, Cass says. Angie says way too much? Cass says, way too fast. So Angie says let’s start with the baggage and go from there. Cass says “Yes, mother, lets do so!” They giggle and walk off. End scene.

———NEXT SCENE

BACK at condo…Jesse has changed his clothes (LOL), pacing the floor a bit. Frankie’s picking on him saying breathe, breathe. Jesse tells him to shut up. Frankie keeps on doing it a bit. Jesse plays back and says he’s gonna pop him one. Frankie tells him he better get with it because soon Cass was going to have him wrapped around her little finger. As if on cue, the door opens and Cass and Angie look at the boyz goofing. Cass smiles and calls out to Frankie - (sounds like she called him Filbert or something like that). She hops up on him to hug him and they smile, etc. Jesse just stays in the background smiling and looking on. Cass looks over at him and says, “You’re him, you’re Jesse.” Jesse smiles and breathes (LOL). End scene.

HERE WE GO…AT CEMETERY

Angie, Jesse, Frank and Tad watch as the coffin is opened. Tad says “what the hell is that?” as the camera pans down to the opened coffin we see a stuffed elephant (a toy, not a real one LOL)…Frankie says it looks like my, it is…and he looks up at Angie. End scene.

After intro muzak….

Angie says it was the stuffed animal that Jesse bought for Frankie but was never able to give it ot him. She gave it to Frankie on the day of the funeral. Jesse is cleary moved, almost in tears. He looks over at Frankie ans says this is the last thing that I gave you. Did it hurt too much to keep it? Frankie says he didn’t want him to be alone, he was a kid. Angie says “I can’t take this” and steps away. Jesse goes after her saying “Look at me, I’m here, nowhere else.” “What good did this do?” Angie asks. Tad tells Angie they are going to find out who did this. Someone went to a lot of trouble to dig the coffin up and gut the elephant and bury it again, Frankie says. Tad looks over and says a lot of things don’t stay burried around here. End Scene.

BACK AT CEMETERY….Jesse hands the elephant to CSI man and turns back towards Tad, Angie and Frankie. “What is Papel after and why would it be buried in my kid’s toy?”, Jesse says aloud. I bought this for him the day…the day I was shot and there was nothing in it then. Tad asks if he’s sure and he says yes. Frankie suggests maybe someone got to it later. Angie is over this chatter and yells out “It doesn’t matter! We done what we came her to do, let’s go home.” Jesse says he needs …. Frankie cuts in and says that the police will let them know if they have any tips from the elephant (ridiculously bad writing there IMHO…are they gonna make the elephant talk? Put him under bright interrogation lights? Ya, ya, I digress….) Jesse says there is one more thing they all have to do and that is to say goodbye to his tombstone. He’s having it removed and broken into a million pieces tomorrow and he won’t be needing one of those for a long time. Tad says “good riddance” as he looks sadly over at Dixie’s grave. The H Fam gathers themselves and begins to walk away, Jesse looks over at Tad still standing there and asks if he’s coming. Tad says no, not right now, there something he has to do first. Camera pans away as the H Fam leaves. End Scene.

TAD STORYLINE….Tad is talking to Dixie’s grave - “Hey Sweetheart, it’s so nice to have Jesse back - I wish you would have known him. I miss you so much”….(just get hankies ready)…He tells her he’s not forgotten the promise he made to find their little girl. And how every day he does something new - making calls, tracking down leads, etc. “I know I promised you I would find our daughter and I will, but I need your help. Please Dixie, help me find our little girl.” He looks up as if he heard something and then stands looking at the sky as the camera pans out. End Scene.

BACK AT TAD & KRYSTAL’s - Angie, Frankie, Jesse and Krystal are in the living room. Tad walks in and says sorry! Jesse tells him they were just filling Krystal in on the elephant. Someone knocks on the door and Jesse says you expecting somebody to Tad. (OH COME ON WE ALL KNOW IT’S THE SNAKE). Tad says no and heads to the door, opens it to find Robert. Tad rolls his eyes back into is head as Robert says I’m sorry am interrupting something, Tad tells him YES, not that that keeps him away. Robert says he heard police exhumed coffin and wanted to know if they found anything. Tad says NO and they tell him teh grave was empty. Robert says really and says he’s sorry to have intruded and starts to leave. He drops his keys (on purpose) and as he bends down to get them places a bug under the table. He tells everyone to have a good evening. Krystal helps usher Robert out. Tad tells her he hates that guy, everytime he shows up…this starts a conversation about why Tad hates Robert so much. Angie says if Frankie knew what a monster Ray Gardner was and what he did to Tad he’d understand better. Jesse still doesn’t get why Tad feels this way about Robert. Tad tells him you were a cop, remember that feeling in your gut. Jesse says yeah and says hold out a little longer, we’ll find out. “Isn’t the case over now,” Krystal asks, now that there was nothing in the elephant. Angies says she has a confession to make. End scene.

NUTSHELL TIME….

Angie says it’s another elephant - not the one Jesse had for Frankie. She couldn’t part with it b/c Jesse had touched it and she wanted to keep it. Cassandra had it as a toy - she didn’t tell Frankie b/c she didn’t want to hurt his feelers. When Cassie went off to school, Angie donated it to charity in the city. Jesse wante to look for it - Angie asked him not too and to drop it all. Robert hears all of this. Jesse agrees not to look further. Krystal suggest Jesse help Tad find Kate - they all agree great idea. And Jesse says yes to it. End Scene.

AT TAD’S…Angie calls Cassandra to talk to her. Cassie wants to come to PV, shocks Angie and tells her she wants to meet the legend Jesse. She says she’ll see Angie tomorow - Angie says TOMORROW? and Cassie says SURPRISE and hangs up. We see her with drop a stuffed elephant into her bag and scene ends.

We see Robert listening to all this and hes sayd “Damn you Angela Hubbard! Why did you have to be so stupid? That was my last chance at getting that diamond back. I will get that back, you will not cheat me! he screams. End Scene.

HERE WE GO…WHOLE DAY AT CEMETERY

At the cemetery, Angie asks Jesse if he’s sure he wants to be there. Of course he says yes, but tells her and Frankie that they can go if it’s too much for them. Angie looks at him and says “I go where you go…got it.” Jesse is looking around and starts to say something when he sees Tad show up and feels relieved to see him. End Scene.

Tad and Jesse talking about it taking so long - Angie tells them it will be soon enough. Then we see Robert slithering into the cemetery out of view from the perfect ones…he’s on the cell and talking to the person who cuts the stones for him. He’s telling the guy that he might want to put whatever he’s working on now on hold because that last stone he cut for him is nothing compared to what he’s going to have today - the biggest diamond you’ve ever laid your eyes on. End Scene.

Tad and Angie are talking, comforting one another. We see Robert lurking through the bushes, he pulls out a gun and says “hurry up boys, I’ve been waiting 20 years for this.” End Scene.

Jesse watches as they continue the exhumation - he gets up and walks over to where Tad and Frankie are standing. Tad looks over at him and says “So where you from?”, Jesse just gives him a look. Tad says come on, trying to loosen him up a bit - what’s going on in that big head of yours? Jesse says the same old thing man, what’s burried int that coffin. He says he read the obituaries every day for weeks after he was on the run but all the bodies were accounted for. Tad says maybe someone made a mistake. Jesse says maybe it wasn’t a person in the coffin.

Frankie extracts himself and walks over to where Angie is sitting on the steps below the exhumation area. He tells her it’s almost over - they’ll be done soon and they can all go home and get back to their lives. Angie says they’d better and that if the coffin has no answers Jesse won’t be in peace and she won’t know what to do. End scene.

Tad looks over and sees Dixie’s grave - clearly bothered by her memory and that of Kate as well. They pan over to Angie and Frankie on the steps. He kisses her hand and they both get up and walk over to the exhumation site. She and Frankie and Jesse hold hands as all four of them stand watching. And back in the woods we see Robert taking it all in. Angie leaves them and Jesse follows her. She says to him “Oh God, I can’t take this. The last time I saw that coffin was when you were in it.” He leans over and hugs/holds her. End scene.

Final moments…at cemetery, Jesse says we’re ready and they show Robert aiming his gun. We see just a bit of the coffin as it starts to open and Angie says “Oh my God Jesse” and the scene ends.
