Monday’s Episode (3/31/2008)
Monday - 12:57 p.m. EST — It’s almost time…will be back with updates as they occur or as soon as otterly possible 
At The Come Back we see Angie, Jesse, Tad and Krystal. Jesse is still worried over Papel and everyone is telling him to chill. He won’t…starts talking about who would murder an innocent woman like Mrs. Remmington. “Who would do that?” he says. Tad says, Papel. Jesse is really focused on where the necklace went. Then we see Robert with the diamond, putting it in a safe and then he says “you won’t be alone long (speaking to the diamond) because Jesse Hubbard is going to tell us where your big brother is” and scene ends. We are at intro muzak now…will provide more meat to the above in a bit.
And Darnell got two poses and first in order too, then Debbi and then Cornelius.
For those behind the corporate walls…here are a few screenprints I took of the new intro…more on the way….
FINALLY…we see Angie, Jesse, Tad and Krystal at The Come Back again - trying to get Jesse to enjoy himself. They finally get Jesse to relax a tad (no pun intended) bit and then Robert shows up…OY - totally sucks the life out of the party. The mood quickly changes and Angie thanks Robert again for his involvement in it all. Krystal intervenes and tells Robert no offense but it’s Jesse’s first night out (she tells him this away from the others). Robert stays no problem and will leave. But before he does, comes over to the table and puts his hand on Tad’s shoulder (made me want to remove it - hate this guy!) and said he knows that he still reminds Tad of his daddy, but he hopes in time he will see him for the man he is and walks away. Well we all know what kind of man Robert is and it’s clear Tad is very uneasy with him still as is Jesse.
After commericals - second scene - more A&J
Jesse is telling Tad that he can see he’s not all that comfortable with Robert. Jesse’s phone rings and we don’t know who it is, but they say they want to meet with him tonight. And he says okay. Angie asks who that was and he tells them that it was Attorney General Samuels and that he wants to meet him tonight but didn’t know why. Then they show Robert still at The Come Back look over at the table after Jesse says that…end scene.

OK…how is that Jesse has a cell phone already, that Samuel would have the number to???? I know it’s only a soap, but they jumped the gun a little bit with the cell. LOL! When the phone was ringing and he reached for it, I was thinking that maybe Angie had left her purse on the side of him and he was reaching for the purse so she could get the phone and answer it.

LOL - well with today’s technology it takes zero time to get a phone especially with Jesse’s connections LOL…but I hear ya - we didn’t get a ton of stuff but we did get some
I wish they’d have a real double date and just focus on some fun dialogue and let them have some peace before Robert rears his butt ugly head again…okay off to vidcap for ya!

I guess Sam, with his pull, had no problem having one of his lackey’s get Jesse’s number once he knew he wanted to talk to Jesse.

Just watched the new into with the Hubbards—damn!!!! Jessie looks so friggin good!!!! I also have to give Angie her prop’s the girl is just beautiful. I can’t hate. Can’t wait for the vidcaps.

How does Samuel even know who Jesse is since they have never met( I am assuming)? Which gets me to thinking about the idea someone posted about Samuel being involved with or being Papel? Possibility maybe? What do you guys think about that?

Hey ya’ll. Also remember that Derrick also called Jesse. I’m sure all the PVPD and the Feds–including Sam’s office–have Jesse’s info. His coming back from the “dead” and the Papel investigation are big news in law enforcement circles. I guess Sam may end up being the big, bad guy behind Rob after all! And yes, DW is SUPERFINE!!!!

I would go back to PV to the work with Darnell! I watched that interview with those two on youtube, I think Taylor was talking about. The date posted for it is January 2005. So Ms. Morgan was married then but not now, but they are so cute together to bad they are not together for real though.

aliciayg2, I agree about Sam, especially since he now, out of the blue wants to offer Jesse a job. It’s only be a few days since the show down and Jesse coming out of hiding. At best, Sam knows Jesse on paper only (assuming he’s looked over Jesse’s file) and as great as we all know Jesse is, I can’t see offering him a job in the AG’s office just.like.that. I would think there would need to be some background checks, especially since Jesse’s been MIA for the last 20 years… who knows if our boy had to succumb to some illegal activities to survive!!! LOL

Hey everybody; Took an extended lunch (Had 2 C the AMC Live); just couldn’t wait to watch on DVR 2night!!! I think Dereck may have put a bug in Samuel’s ear about Jesse. Maybe he needs a bodyguard -Ol’ girl aint going for that again- and I don’t blame her. I have to admit I thought the same thing about the phone; I just knew Jesse was reaching for Angie’s purse. He must have been out of minutes after the shoot out (he asked Tad for a phone) :-). I was wondering what # Dereck used when he called Jesse on Friday. Wait till yall hear Jesse and Angie smooching @ the table 2day but the cameras were on Tad & Krystal. (Funneee) I talked about Jesse’s lips last week but someone mentioned his dark eyes and long lashed (have mercy… just delicious) Luv his expressions during the opening!!! Corenlius was excellent choice for Frankie 2.

I’m all about the JnA smoochin’ (we need to fire that camera man!) I was complaining because we had a spell last week where we went 2 whole episodes with no lip kissage! I was distraught but they surely made up for it on Friday’s (3-28) show.

Ya’ll are a mess!! I am cracking up!!!! Debbie did say she’s in love and her new beau that sat in the front row when AnJ were on The View (handsome baldhead brown brotha ) But he must not watch JnA because even he would be like DAMN GIRL what’s up wtih all that lip action and touching? Myabe that’s why Angie keeps wearing all those turtlenecks. My man Jesse was sure nuf on her neck, chest, lips everything on Friday w/ her wearing a scoop neck top. She must of have had on some high heel shoes because she was tipping across the floor on Friday (Swithching 2) Yes Miss Devine he’s watching U from behind!!!!! Acting or not she kissed the Sh_t out of him @ the table. He kissed her on the neck and then Damn near planted her into the wall again…. OMG!!!! As I watched todays episode, I noticed a fair amount of touching between the Hubbards. Particularly Mrs. Hubbard constantly rubbing Mr. Hubbards back and touching his leg under the table. Acting or not, they looked happy!

Finally…I get to say somethin’ today…Darnell has always been a good-lookin’ man…he just looks better with age. He’s bulked up from 20 yrs. ago and that makes him look even better. I put him in my basket with Denzel, Blair, Terrence H. and etc.
I’m surprised he didn’t apply for parts in a lot of the movies over the years…he would have been great in Soul Food, Best Man, etc. I can hardly pay attention to what he & Angie are saying because I’m droolin’ soo much (I gotta get a life!!)!
Jesse could have his own cell phone by now. Besides…Angie has to keep up with her man!! He’s been gone for 20 years…his phone is probably better than hers (or it was her phone)! Derek does have Angie’s number…he called her when they were in the cabin. And I think he had a cell phone when he called Tad when Tad was at the hospital before he got assulted in the hotel by the man… I wondered then where he got one from…maybe it’s a pay as you go phone (LOL)!
I think Samuel is Papel…he & Robert weren’t added to the credits…they are just temporary.

I don’t know about those kisses not meant to be on camera. Take a listen…. He kisses her (wait a sec) She kisses him (wait 5-8 secs) They kiss AGAIN. During that 5- 8 seconds I bet she was touching his face. She had her hand on his leg 2. He was rubbing on her back (like a man should on date) later U C her hand on his back. What can U say??? They are playing their parts 2 a T. When is he gonna get tired on Angie taking care of him/them??? Could be another hurdle they need to jump.

Well…Samuel was in the police station when J & A were there and the police officers were clapping. The next day footage that was about Erica…I think I heard clapping and I think it was th officers clapping.
If Jesse has to be away from Angela…he ain’t goin no-where!! At least not without her!! They should have called her for her permission first!

He’s never gonna get tired of being loved that much. And we all know Angie loves herself some Jesse. The biggest hurdle they will have to face will be Cassandra. She’s not going to like Mama being with this man. And I can’t wait to see whether the writers will deal with the fact that Jesse looks just like Jacob! Should be a bumpy ride for the Hubbards but a fun ride for us. I wouldn’t mind DW doing double duty as Jesse/Jacob. I hate “twin” story lines but twice as much of him can’t be anything but good!

I think the camera man made a mistake by being too close and not catching them all.

Whatever their personal relationship is, they are truly blessed. To be able to do something you love for a living and to be able to do it with someone you trust and admire as much as they obviously do, they are blessed. And I appreciate them coming back to AMC to bless us with their beauty, charm and grace! And a special thanks to Mr. Williams for making my 36″ flat screen worth every penny!LOL. I didn’t buy it to watch him, but since January I sure am glad I bought it!

You know what? Until Friday…last week I was saying to myself, ‘Angie needs to get more into the kisses”. Well, she was really into that kiss at the table on Friday. Besides Friday and at the cabin, the other kiss that she was really into was when she was in that lime green turtle neck sweater. Remember when she said, “if you don’t stop kissing me like this, we’re going to be in trouble.” I think she meant that for real! Oh guys, you can HEAR when they are really kissing as oppose to acting.

I thought I was the only one that noticed sometimes she seems to be pulling back a little. I thought maybe it was just her trying to be respectful of her man in real life. I know which episode you are referring to. It was 3/12 and there was definitely a difference in the kisses. That’s part of what I meant when I said him kissing her on her neck causes unscripted reactions. When he kisses her neck she giggles like a school girl and the effect seems more primal than mental. With those lips, I can only imagine!

You guys are too much! I have noticed the “baby” which takes my breath away, the wiping of her tears, the kissing of hands and the sweet bending down to be on her level. Mesmerizing. Okay ( just to play devil’s advocate for a minute)—now I saw a clip of Debbi giving feedback to an actor on I want to be a soapstar where she said that she doesn’t feel his sex appeal and that there is more to an intimate scene than kissing–she went on to say that she wanted him to make her want to go through the tv…you get the idea. Either her acting chops are simply over the top fantastic (which I think we can all agree) or there is a little somethin’ somethin’ more or perhaps a little bit of both? I don’t know. One of those things to make you say HMMMM.

ok, I have a question. It’s seems as if Darnell is not aware (at least b4 it happens) how hard he is slamming his hand on tables. LOL!!! Like today. But, do you all remember the time at Tad’s office when he was mad and slammed his hand down on a table and had that delayed reaction of pain??? Was that real, because it seemed as if it was? Also, it seemed to have caught Debbi off guard because it was if she didn’t know whether to keep going or stopped to see if he was ok…she stuttered saying her lines at that moment.

The endearment “baby”, the kisses, the constant touching, the back rubs, the hand on the leg… I just love them because they are so natural with each other and I really think the affection AnJ share is greatly influenced by Dw & DM’s affection for one another. That’s a part of them that they bring to Angie and Jesse.
jav, I’m watching the grave sight clip now and though I can’t be 100% sure, it looks like Jesse reaches into his pocket for the cell but I can’t rule out him patting her down and feeling for her cell… just can’t tell for sure one way or the other.
OK, now it looks like he puts the phone in his back pocket after he makes the call.
Everybody’s assignment for tomorrow: Watch the grave sight clip and answer the question… Whose phone is it anyway? LOL!!!

You guys are too much! I think we are all watching this man a little to closely, LOL. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop watching. As long as he’s there, so am I.
I think it’s really amazing that the hottest couple on television is so underrated. If ABC had any sense they would be reading these blogs and stepping up the amount of screen time the JnA story line gets. They have a perfect opportunity and I think they are under utilizing their best talent.

Maybe he had to ask Tad for a phone after the shooting because he didn’t bring it with him. Many cell phones have GPS and can be used for tracking purposes. He might have left it home because if they patted him down and found it, they might have hurt Frankie thinking he was using the phone to allow someone to track him. (I know it sounds far fetched, but I work for a wireless company. It could be done.)

Question…where did you all see Angie touching Jesse’s leg? I saw the back rubs and heard the kissing in the background, but I didn’t see any leg touching. By the way, Tad and Krystals were not playing around with their kiss either…I’m just saying (:. Although, I noticed that Krystal didn’t tell Tad that she loved him back…hmmmmmmmmmmmm?!?! She’s still in love with Adam, isn’t she??? I know sorry, I got off of J&A for a minute. YEAAAAAA, JHgrl, we are defintely watching Darnell really close!

Good point jhgrl… Jesse did believe they would pat him down. He told Adam so and I could believe he’d leave it behind because he wouldn’t want them to think the authorities could track him to the meeting place.

BTW–Jhgirl ITA with your comment about JnA being underrated. I think their fans recognize the greatness but IMO “mainstream” soap viewers are so unused to seeing AA couple–let alone an AA couple on the Frontburner–that they don’t know how to take it. JMO. I’m just glad DW and DM have the chops that gets them recognized by the Soap media if not the general fans.

But Now that it was mentioned I recall scenes when she wasnt as into it as he was. But then I can totally get down with her wanting to respect her man. If she’s going home to him that would be a mess to be swappin’ saliva like that. Not sanitary at all people

aliciayg…TRUST…it’s more of the romantic in me than my ears. They are definitely not as good as they use to be, but I can hear the difference in the kissing…just check out the clip I was talking about earlier when she had that lime green sweater on. Pay attention to the part when she said, “ummmmm” right there…that was a REAL kiss!!!! LOL!

I told ya’ll!!!! I told Ya’ll Angie touched in face today on that 3rd kiss. Take another look and you can see Angie’s right hand on the side of his face. The camera was messing up for real because after Tad says “I love you” to Krystal, you hear a kiss but it quickly goes to his face w/ grimace about his uncle.
Jhgrl —- U otta C Jesse on my 42″ !!! Gurl!!!!!
I also think Angie was N2 the kisses she gave Jesse before she left the safe house to check on the hospital video tapes. Did ya’ll see that he removed something from her lip and then his? Maybe that’s why he was laughing by the end of that scene.
Aliciay2—- Soror, is it just me or does Angie looks like she’s have one “O” when Jesse has her up against the door in the cabin and her arms are outstretched and wrists are locked together??? If not then, during the luv scene when he’s kissing her neck and chest (first her mouth is open and then she clentches her teeth. Anyway—It took me a while to figure this out; it was buggn’ me. Obviously they didn’t shoot the train scene on the same day as the cabin because Angie’s hair color and style are different; earrings on @ the train but no earrings @ the cabin. These chats R great… now i don’t have to talk to myself either.

I ain’t mad at ya! 42″ huh? M-M-M!!!! And IMO you are correct about the kisses she gave him after she told Tad she would hurt him! I love that scene. But the kisses seemed more heartfelt on her part.

Did you all notice there were some moments that wasn’t edited out today? The laughing that Tad and Krystal were doing in the background right b4 A said maybe they should call it a night. I was trying to see if I could catch what happened that was so funny. Even Jesse was trying not to laugh at whatever happened that we didn’t see. Angie stumbled on her line, but did a good job of not llaughing at whatever they were tickled about. Also, I mentioned earlier about Jesse slamming his hand on the table and seemed to have knocked something off the table…Angie said, “ALRIGHTY, THEN”.

TSUDElta- Soror I just know whether acting or not when a man gets to kissing your neck and what not, you feel something one way or the other. I can imagine the self control it must take though, to give that type of performance with folks being half dressed and kissing all on you,( I know though its not all fun with all those folks and cameras going on).

I did notice that after Angie said “Alrighty then” there did seem to be an edit. I know they talked about getting the giggles when they were younger and filming scenes. Maybe some things don’t change. They were having fun. I hope they enjoy it. I read a spoiler for next week that says Angie and Jesse’s joy will come to a screeching halt. I wonder what Robert has up his sleeve?

Take a look at how Angie looks at Jesse after the table slap and the “alrighty then”. She’s rubbing his leg and the way she looks at him is kind of, well, sultry. She definitely looks like she’s really into him.

Can’t B 2 much fun but hey they are vets @ this right. Maybe they tune everybody out and just get into the scene? Would anyone liked to have seen A takes J’s hand on friday (remembering his touch/scent), press it against her cheek and maybe sniff his wrist or something…. I don’t know???? I also thought he would take her apron off… LOL!!!!! What’s really funny is when she fixed her 2 “sista’s” (bra straps & all) at the table. Doing that comes w/ age… ya think?? I do think J hit the table a little too hard and it shocked everybody.

I think she looks down because his gaze is intense and it’s hard for her to focus. Seriously. He makes sure to look dead at her and he rarely blinks when he’s interacting with her. That has to mess with your concentration.

Hi everyone. Hope it’s another great JnA day. And yes, ya’ll I have looked at Jesse’s portion of the AMC intro about a million times!!! LOL. Can not, can not, can NOT get OVER how well Darnell looks. The man makes 53–which isn’t even that old BTW–look like 38!!! Homeboy must be hiding some Dorian Gray type painting in his closet. LOL!!! Bump Charm! AMC needs to find whatever DM and DW are using and market that!
Jav, where the heck is Christopher Williams? I thought someone said that brother had passed on? I hope not.
On a side note, much love and respect for the Levert family during this time of loss (Shawn Levert). My prayers are going out to them!

GIRRRRRRRRRRL, NO! I just saw CW here in town in a stage play he was in a few months ago. He’s still fine too, just a little older. There are a few VIDS with Chris on Youtube…including MTV’S Unplugged where he’s singing Teddy’s Come and go with me…OH MY LAWD! Every once in a while I have my own little personal CW concert courtesy of Youtube. (: Oh, they just added Promises, Promises too!
Yes, my prayers are also with the Levert family. I can’t imagine losing both of my kids (I have 2). But, God has given each of his children individual tasks and purposes in life and he knows just what and how much we can handle. I pray God gives both parents strength and comfort.

jav- CW actually lives in VA my sister lives there and he came into a store and she talked to him for a few minutes and he lives just outside of Richmond. She was working part-time at Burlington Coat factory at the time. She said he still looks the same too!

Top of the afternoon everyone! I have had a good laugh the past few minutes. It helps since its’ cloudy and gray in the DC area. Can you believe it’s the 24th anniversary of Marvin Gaye’s death? I have good ride in this morning listening to Marvin and Tammy Terrel (You’re All I Need) I think. I gonna pull out my Marvin Gaye’s greatest hits tonight.. .. Better yet I think I have some songs on my ipod. can’t wait 4 today’s episode (can’t take a long lunch though) Any BasketBall fans out there???? Maryland loss last night so that means my supervisor won’t be going to the Final Four in Tampa. (Dang it) He’s and avid MD supporter so had they won… he would have been otta here for a few days next week.. Oh well maybe he’ll go anyway; he could use some sun. Less than 10 mins. to AMC!!!! Gotta go!! Holla

Aliciayg2, when I was at the play, I was going to the restroom and I looked up and who was standing right in front of me??? Yes, it was CHRIS! No one else had noticed him standing there, but me…well I froze. Yea, I did…lost all my nerve and went straight to the restroom. But, that may have been a blessing, because I really had to go to the restroom BAD! Could you have imagine if i would have talked to him…my IDOL! OMG! I believe I will get my opportunity again. That was the 3rd time he had been in town performing in a play. He actually gets better and better. He was suppose to have a new CD come out on V-Day, don’t know what happened with that. Anyway, I’ve heard from people who has actually met him that he’s very down to earth.

Otter, it’s just sad…I watch AMC 3 times daily and then the weekend too! Not to mention this site too!

well as you guys know, i am new here and i have really enjoyed all of your comments because i have felt the same way. i’ve been telling my husband about j and a and he said that from a mans point of view, you don’t have that much chemistry with a person unless you are really feelin them. friday’s episode was heart felt and that was real. she told him that she loved him from her soul and yes their kiss was real. i also noticed that their scene at the outback was real and that they did seem to have a giggle bug after jesse hit the table. she also seemed to be a little more in tune with him and i said the same thing about those kisses. you can tell when they are real and when they are scripted. at first they seemed to be, but now, they are passionate. i won’t be surprised that by the end of this year, they will be together for real. he does seem to spark her interest and does anyone else see the glow in her eyes when she looks at him? they were just to into one another on their date and when she said that their dinner got interupted, he gave her this cute little look like YEA GIRL! you can only act for so long and no one else seems to have that kind of chemistry on the show. not even zach and kendall and they are suppose to be one of the top five couples in daytime t.v. DW and DM better move up quickly and AMC does need to recognize where there ratings are coming in at. if not, then they are going to forever be in between. i read that the weeks leading up to DW and DM’s reunion, AMC recieved the most rating than they did in 5 months. can’t wait to see what is goin to happen next and they do deserve a real wedding this time and not a justice of the peace type thing and a real honeymoon like jack and erica had. lets just keep it real and fair. we want to see our favorite stars get what they deserve as well.

I believe that DW has been feeling this way for a long time. I mean he did say, “she is the “love of my life”. Why, why would he say that if he wasn’t in love with her. She better quit with that “he’s my brudha” stuff and recognized the gift that God has put right in her face all these years.

Demetrice your husband is right though and you know dudes never make that kind of confession unless they really mean it. I think they have a genuine love and respect for each other and that’s what makes it so real for us watching. But like I’ve said before BIG UPS to her man for being able to hang.
