Friday’s Ep - WOW
I thought that title would draw you in rather quickly. It was a WOW day on All My Children today for our supercouple, but a good part of my WOW is because of a series of unfortunate technology incidents really hosed up my day. Literally minutes before the start of today’s episode, my PC tower which I use to tape and create the vidcaps, not to mention watch all my TV through as I work, decided to go belly up. So until I can get that fixed, you’re going to be stuck with recaps by writing and possibly some photos depending on how well my digital camera captures photos taken off my real TV. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, bu trust me it’s a lot more pain in the hind quarters for me.
Moving along… today’s episode found Jesse and Angie still in the hospital records room and then over to Tad’s office for some really great dialogue and more clues. Here’s the written recap as well as a partial vidcap*.
THE WRITTEN RECAP…
In the third segement of the opening, we finally get to see Angie & Jesse along with our faithful friend Tad. In the records room Jesse really over looking through boxes and boxes of records and is convinced they’re not going to find a anything that happened from 20 years ago. Tad tells him to just keep at it because somebody took him out of the hospital knowing full well Jesse wasn’t dead. Angie says they have looked through every personnel, security and visitor log file. “That just means they bent over backwards to hide their tracks” Tad says. Jesse asks Angie where they take a corpse once they have officially called the time of death. She says that unless there was an autopsy — which there wasn’t in his case — the body is taken to the morgue.
Then they hear footsteps outside the records room door. Tad goes to the door, listens and opens it. He looks both ways and nobody is there. Shutting the door he tells them it must have been a security guard and they’re gone now. Angie is concerned about the guard coming back and Tad tells her they will eventually come by again. Angie turns to Jesse and says “Baby, you can’t stay here!” To which Jesse retorts “I gotta find out who was pulling duty the day that I “died” here. “Tad and I will do it! You have to go back to the shack” Angie pleads. “NO, I have to do this!” Jesse whispers loudly. Of course our buddy Tad has .02 to put in and says who cares who it is that finds out. Prolly not his best remark LOL. “I care!!” Jesse tells him with that look we all know says shut up Tad. “It was my life that was torn apart, my family who suffered! He then looks lovingly and Angie and says “I have to do this baby, I have to do this for us.” (Pic from this scene below).

Back in the records room, Angie is telling Jesse that it’s not a good idea that he’s there at the hospital. He says that this is where it all happened. This is where somebody made it look like he died, where somebody ELSE took his body out the morgue and messed his life up. She says she knows what happened and what they did to him. She just doesn’t want it to happen again. She begs him to go back to the shack. He makes a few snide comments about how long is he supposed to stay there — a few days, a month or 20 years? ouch! Tad tells Jesse to take it easy - the fact is that Angie’s right. If anybody finds him snooping around these records, there’s going be a lot more trouble than he needs right now. Jesse says he needs time to grab this file and find out who was on duty that night. Tad finally agrees and says he has 10 minutes to find his file. Angie, clearly not thrilled with this answer shoots Tad a look . Tad says it’s the least we can do, but only 10 minutes. Tad gives his key to Angie and says to meet him back at his office. Jesse asks where Tad is going and he says he’s headed upstairs to check something else out. After he leaves the room, Angie asks Jesse what’s going to happen if they find out who it was. Jesse looks at her incredulously and says what, what do you mean… I track him down and then…Angie looks at him and says that she never thought of this before, but what if whoever did this to him is somebody that we knew? (Pic from ending of that scene below).
COMMERCIAL…Back in the records room, it looks like Angie has found where Jesse’s record should be … but then if it was, this would pretty much be a big piece of the puzzle and we all know TPTB wouldn’t allow that quite yet. Angie says this can’t be right, Jesse looks over at her and they discover his records are missing completely.
COMMERCIAL…Tad is in the security office at the hospital trying to convince Billy, the security guard to let him look at some video footage. Billy tells him no many times over, but Tad persists and tells him it’s for an inusrance case he’s working on, etc. Since that is having no affect on Billy, Tad greases his palm and we cut over to Angie & Jesse arriving/entering Tad’s office. Jesse checks out the room as Angie turns on the light. Jesse jots across the room and turns off the light quickly telling Angie they have all the light they need as he turns on the desk lamp. Jesse recaps where they are so far - somebody pulled the records of him being transferred into or out of the hospital to the morgue. Someone with access, maybe hospital staff or someone on the force, maybe somebody he worked with. Just then they hear a creaking noise out the front door and Jesse peeks out, but no one is there. Angie is getting a real education on what life has been like for Jesse these past 20 years. She asks him if this is what it’s like - keeping the lights low, locking the door and always looking over your shoulder? Jesse says this is what has kept him alive all these years.
COMMERCIAL…VIDCAP VIDCAP WE HAVE A VIDCAP of sorts….
*Okay, so my TV PC is more than likely gone for good, but I was able to use my digital camera and capture these few scenes from the ending today. It’s not the best quality, but not bad for a quick fix not to mention quick thinking, until I can get a replacement PC and geek it out. I’ll keep experimenting with this temporary process to get the best quality for any vidcaps, but for now, recaps will more than likely be mostly written, which of course is like the main point of having a blog LOL…anyways…here’s the last few scenes from today.
NOTE: The first scene you are about to view is NON Jesse & Angie, but is integral to our storyline. You’ll find out more, just keep watching.

This scene is an instant classic–ranks right up there with the Train, the Cabin and the “It’s been a long time, Thaddeus” scene. I absolutely loved Jesse telling Angie she was a blessing to him. And it was great to see Angie blush. I declare, they still feel like teenagers when they are together. I love it. They are ELECTRIC! Angie brings out the best in Jesse and Jesse is indeed “worthy” of her love.
They are the reason I’m even watching AMC.

I totally agree! I love them back on AMC. I’ve got a different pc now so I can hopefully tape this episode as it airs for the last time on SOAPNet Monday morning. I really want to get a better quality clip of that scene. Darnell is sooooo good and well you can’t say anthing bad about Debbi…They are so wonderful together and I want more airtime for them now.
LOL
